I could smell it walking into the place I am house sitting at. Delicious spring rolls, house special fried rice, and sizzling chicken/ shrimp dish! Big portions, this is after we ate our fill!
Amazing Chinese food! Friendly service - they came to check on us a few times. The restaurant is laid out into smaller hallway-like sections, so it doesn't feel too crowded
Not the most inspiring from the outside, but very tasty on the inside, generous portions, hospital hostesses Never overcooked vegetables. Deft touch with tofu. Reasonable prices that a student can afford. Recommended when you’re hungry for pan-oriental stalwarts.
The search is over! We almost gave up on good Chinese food and especially Cantonese which seems to be dying art in the northwest but my niece took us there for New Years and we were in hog heaven! Busy place and yes the greens beans are to die for and on every table. Sesame chicken was a nice surprise and only 1 dish out of 10 was ok, mapo tofu. Odds are good!
Out of town, was craving some good Chinese food. My tum tum left super happy! I loved the fried rice!
Well goodness gracious that was some good food. As someone who is half Chinese, that was very delicious. The salt+pepper fish was perfect. Beef chow fun had lots of flavor and the garlic green beans were fantastic. I would love to come here again with the rest of my family so we can get more dishes to share!
Next time I'd love to get the crispy duck
Our first time dining in and we enjoyed it very much! The pork fried rice was delicious as well as the potstickers, Mongolian beef & general Tso chicken! We will definitely be back!
The food is delicious, portions are huge. Really friendly service, the only good Chinese food I’ve found in Portland in 18 years.
The chow mein was a hit with my kids. The staff were friendly, and the food came out to our table in less than ten minutes.
Very good food and fast friendly service. Lage portions, more than enough for 2 people. Got plenty for lunch tomorrow.
Dependable Chinese joint. No combinations. Wonton soup is better than hot and sour. Spicy dishes aren't very spicy but good.
Always ordered take-out and it has been consistently good! Great service, super nice people.
Probably the best Chinese food I have had in Portland in my 15 years on the West Coast. I will definitely be going back

Zien Hong's is one of the best Chinese/Vietnamese restaurants in Portland. Prices are high, but Everything is really good and portions are huge!
