Yoko's Japanese Restaurant - Portland - Photo album

Yoko's Japanese Restaurant & Sushi in Portland is a small, unassuming restaurant that serves some of the most delicious and fresh sushi I've ever had. The restaurant is located in a quiet neighborhood, and it has a cozy, intimate atmosphere. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable, and they are alwa
✨Best (shhhhhhhh) IYKYK kept, tiny sushi spot in all of PDX ✨Arrive before 5pm or you’ll be waiting until 7pm (no resys available) ✨Salmon chili roll, takas tuna, poke roll, shishito leaf special, baked muscles….omg! rainbow roll, and any/all nigiri is off the charts fresh ✨Run…don’t walk! (PSA:
Yoko's has been a neighborhood institution for years. The food quality is absolutely fantastic, and it has the vibe of a very busy, hopping joint. It's cozy, crowded, and bustling. The sake selection is wonderful and reasonably priced, and the fish is well portioned and high quality. Unfortunately,
Yoko's has been a long standing Portland Sushi restaurant with a reputation of quality sushi at a fair price. It is one of my friend's favorite sushi spots in town and it just might be yours soon too. The restaurant is nestled in a vibrant SE Portland neighborhood close to Reed College, my Alma M
I love everything about Yoko’s. The branding is adorable, but the sushi… well the sushi makes the 30 minute drive from St John’s worth it. Photos of nothing really because I don’t have time for pictures when I’m here. *if you haven’t been here, there are no reservations. It’s a small spot. So get
Best sushi bar hands down. I've been coming here for 14 years and the food is second to none. Takas Tuna is a must and Konamis Treasure was mouth watering. Thank you.
Yoko’s is our favorite place for sushi. It will be a top 10 places we miss if we ever move from portland. Taka’s tuna is a must! Poki’s roll, yellow tail sashimi, seared tuna sashimi, kanami’s treasure, salmon nigiri, creamy scallops, unagi nigiri and miso soup.
Best sushi in Portland I’ve had so far! Very nice staff and love the small establishment vibe. Gotta say, the sushi restaurants with a fish tank is usually good and this place didn’t disappoint!
This is *not* a place I would recommend if you have evening plans or if you have a time constraint. Went to try this restuarant alone and it still took me in the ballpark of 2 hrs (1 hr wait to get sat and 1 hour of mostly being ignored, trying to pay so I could leave). The service was… not great.
Yoko's is my favorite Sushi place in Portland, hands down. It's been a staple for almost three-and-a-half decades! Family friendly, and authentic! ♥️
Super good sushi! It’s kind of hard to get seats here usually and it can feel pretty cramped once you are seated especially if it’s more than 2 people in you’re group. I’d still say it’s worth it but I don’t think everyone will.
Small space, but play some pinball and have a beer next door while you wait. If Yoko herself is there you are in for a real treat as the food and fish are excellent. Good value and friendly staff albeit a bit under trained. Still a favorite place for us regardless!
Great place! Be prepared for a long wait on Fridays though. You can sign up for a waitlist and get a text when your table is ready though. Lots of bars nearby to hang while you wait!
Most under rated sushi restaurant in Portland, I always get fresh fish and great service here. I recommend the Tempura Halibut and a Poke bowl. Throw in some Momokawa sake and you're set! P.S. love the art in the bathroom.
I've been a fan of yokos since early 00s, it never disappoints! Save some room for the tempura ice cream 😉
Always a pleasure coming here the past 4 years. Always great date night! Try thier grilled eel roll! Always amazing. Huge apps to share. Always arrive early. This is not a huge space. Fyi! Worth the wait.
Tldr I recommend, but expect a wait.$$ or $$$ for price. Maybe it's cause more recently my bar has been lowered for what good sushi is. But this was the best tasting sushi Ive had for years. 5 stars The cons. Longer than what I expected wait time. I don't put blame anywhere with this but, i expecte
Always amazing 👏 well worth the wait!
