Go on their lunch special. Their food is fairly cheap for the portion which is huge. We ordered the twice cooked pork, pan fried fish, and dumplings for appetizer. The lunch special came with soup and a choice of fried or steamed rice. Would definitely come back again. The restaurant is clean and th
First time in Portland looking for authentic szechuan food and found the gem! Couldn't get any more authentic than this! The food was awesome, the portions were huge, and the service was great! We highly recommend this restaurant!! Go and try! You won't be disappointed! Must try the pork intestine w
Very friendly, warm atmosphere and staff. Great family restaurant. Delicious food, good portions, great price. The entire meal pictured costs less than $50 for lunchtime Monday - Friday. I highly recommend coming here and plan to make it a staple from here on out. Yes, it's THAT good! 😀👍
My Wife & I visited Portland from Seattle and searched for Szechuan food, and this place came up. After reading the reviews, we thought of trying it as we both are huge fans of the cuisine. This restaurant definitely has a good ambiance and comfortable seating. We ordered Hot & Sour Soup, Chopped Pe
Got the honey walnut prawn and pork fried rice. All this rice and only six pieces of pork throughout - really disappointing for $15. Lots of prawns for $20. Both tasted fine and the rice was only moderately greasy. Probably won't order from here again due to the rice but I don't regret it.
TL;DR: It's fantastic, authentic and brings family-style back. Bring 6 people you care about. Sit at a big, round table with a lazy susan. If the menu is overwhelming: Order the Moo Shu Pork, Mandarin Crispy Chicken, Shaved Noodles with Beef, Dried Cooked String Bean, side of white rice and 2-3 orde
Second time eating here. I think the specialty items are the best, tbh. We had the home style lamb - came in a little flaming wok! So good!
Our other two dishes were mediocre tbh. The dry fried green string beans were good but not impressive. And the Szechuan style tofu wasn’t very hot or flavorful
Incredible experience with friendly staff and amazing food. You must order the soup dumplings! They are as good or better than the ones I would get when I visited Taiwan. Great authentic food options as well as some dishes that would cater to a more westernized Chinese food preference. Give this pla
Really yummy! The Sichuan Beef Noodle Soup is rated a 3 chili pepper spice level but really wasn't spicy at all (I'm half Vietnamese , half Caucasian for reference). The soup dumplings we're slain and I'd definitely recommend them! They took a while to get to the table and we had to ask for chops
The food is very good. Really love their dumplings and soups(spicy garlic wonton). Drinks were slow to come out. Have been here multiple times and will continue to go back.
Authentic Szechuan food! Wonderful service! Very friendly and attentive server. I like how they limited to only about 5 tables for dine-in during the pandemic. Using paper cups, plates, and utensils was a good choices. Very clean.
Very good. I eat here mostly for lunch. Food always comes out well prepared and piping hot. I've noticed some inconsistencies, especially with soups. Wait time is good for lunch but can be a bit long. I'm a fan of the mapo tofu and spicy eggplant.
Incredible food. My wife and I ordered their dim sum. All homemade absolutely incredible food. Definitely would recommend this restaurant to anyone
I lived in Asia for 15 years and have never had more authentic Chinese food than we had last night. Portions are family style (large) making it easier to try more of their delicious options. Highly recommend: Garlic Cucumbers, Bok Choy, Chow Mein and Black Pepper Beef. The environment is very strip
