I wanted to wax poetic about the food, service and atmosphere, instead I am going just lay it all out for you… You need to visit the Mt Hood Brewing Tilikum Station! It is close to OMSI and looks across the rail lines to the Oregon Rail Heritage Center. Kids love OMSI and the trains🥰. The staff is wicked cool too. They are professional and helpful with great suggestions. It was nice to know that as vegan they offer vegan cheese for the wood-fires pizza pies they offer. The menu is not only traditional but throws in a bit of Portland into the mix with options like their wild mushroom pizza. They also have some savory options like wood fired hazel nuts - yum! We partook of the wild mushroom pizza, no cheese, and the burrata salad, again minus the cheese. The pizza was no less than spectacular! However YIU MUST try the salad. It is in the special board so no guarantees how it will be available. This is a must stop little slice of heaven centrally located for many folks!

Mt Hood Brewery was a fun spot to stop by while exploring the city. The staff was friendly, the fire cooked pizza was amazing and refreshing cold cider was perfect. Part of the restaurant is in a train car that looks out to downtown Portland. After pizza and a cold drink we walked across the Tilikum Crossing on a nice sunny day. This place is definitely now on my top favorites list and excited to come back.

So darn cute. Delicious wood-fired pizzas. Most beers tend to be quite malt forward. 2 rail cars to sit in or the petite restaurant or 5 seat bar. Order at the counter. Auto 18% gratuity. A short walk from OMSI or the Orange line Max. Kid friendly.

I had a great time here. I ordered the garlic bread, pepperoni pizza and margarita! Decently priced and great ambiance. The restaurant has seating inside two railway carriages/wagons. I will definitely go back. I like the location more because it is at a walking distance from OMSI in Portland.

Beers are decent enough, but nothing distinguishable. Food is fairly bland. Crust is soft on the pizza. It's good enough that you could please enough people by coming here, but there's nothing memorable about the place other than it's clean and has old rail cars to dine in. Seeing the max roll through is nice though. No desire to come back. Garlic bread is better than the pizza since the crust is a little softer. It definitely seems house made for most items. Glad there's a mixed drink option.

Hi Everyone ! I just want to say thank the Mt. Hood Brewing team for theirs awesome pizzas ! I wasn’t expecting to find a wood fire oven in that place but I can definitely recommande the this restaurant. Regarding the beers themselves, there are good but a bit too sweet in my opinion. And They apply a 18% tip to everybody. There is also some free access water.

Cool view of trains and the city. The roll-up door seating is nice. Excellent pizzas and beers. The staff made some great recommendations that we went with and really enjoyed it all.

Short walk from OMSI. Went just for a drink. Good beer selection on tap plus they make some tasty cocktails. Chill place to sit and watch the trains go by.

Great spot to grab a beer or some truly delicious brick oven pizza. Get it at the bar and keep it situated on their innovative frozen line. Atmosphere is reminiscent of a ski lodge and neat incorporation of train cars you can also dine in.

This is a hidden gem in this part of town. If you are biking down Spring water corridor I recommend popping in here for some food. Their thin crust pizza is great and their beer is affordable and tasty. You can enjoy your meal in one of their converted train cars which provide a unique dining experience. Highly recommend this spot.

Bomb pizza and an easy walk from the OMSI. We had an hour to kill before watching the planetarium show so we walked down to the Brewery. We ordered and the pizza was out in less than five minutes. My father had the smokehouse porter, he goes to beer festivals in Arizona and Texas and he said it was one of the best beers he’s ever had. Pizza was also fresh and crisp, with great chew to the bread. We got the Tilikum and a pepperoni and the Tilikum was by far the favorite. Cheese and garlicky, with the tomatoes just softened but still juicy. There and back in thirty or so minutes!

I really like both Mt Hood brewing locations and have always had good experiences at both. This one is within walking distance of the Tilikum bridge and OMSI. My friends and I went to dinner at Mt Hood before going to OMSI after dark. The only downside is they only had one person running the whole place. This poor man was taking orders, serving drinks, prepping and cooking the food, and serving it. He mentioned he had been working the whole day by himself. This is just unacceptable, especially during dinner time. The line was understandably backed up and it took quite a while just to get our drinks. Honestly if I was that guy I would've bounced before doing all of that work myself. I'm not sure if he's the owner, but if not I feel like that's just an unacceptable position to put your staff in. When the pizza came out it was delicious as always. My friend and I shared the Tilikum and really enjoyed it. I will keep coming here because I like the food and beer, but I hope they get the staffing issues under control soon!

Eating here was an absolute delight. The gentleman behind the counter was friendly, engaging, and knowledgeable about every item on their menu. The atmosphere is comfortable and fun. There is something immensely enjoyable about eating in an old school railroad dining car. My wife and I each got our own pizza and they were even more delicious than we hoped they would be. Each ingredient was fresh and delectable on their own and prepared to perfection. Though it goes without saying, I will go ahead and say it, we can't wait to go back.

Really impressed with this venue and their beer! Their double IPA was intense and complex. Probably should’ve eaten something first…. Kid friendly with really unique seating in two converted train cars. Plenty of parking and other things to do within walking and riding distance. A must-try!!

Ordered pizzas and beers with our kids. We sat in the green car, but the red car (caboose) has high chairs and a little more space in it to be kid friendly. Pizzas came out pretty quickly - about 10 minutes - and we really liked them. Pepperoni was standard; Alpine (bacon, Brussels, and cheese), and the mushroom were all good choices. The crusts were really good - perfect amount of char. Not quite thin crust pizza. We liked the beers, did an IPA and my favorite was the oatmeal stout. We will be back, next time we go to OMSI, this is perfect for afterward!
