Wow!! We've tried to come here a few times, but the wait has always been pretty long and we still hadn't tried it. We were on the late end today and got right in. The owner, Brandon, greeted me and couldn't have been nicer and more accommodating. No sooner did I sit down, I knocked a glass over that had silverware in it. Matt came to the rescue :) This is almost like going to restaurant week where you pick an item from each section, all for $22. It's a lot of delicious food!! They brought us out an amazing appetizer, like hot doughnuts almost. Then I had a baked egg dish, a guava mimosa (yum!!), and a carrot cake waffle. Omg!!!! Sooooo good. The staff was great and super friendly. This is inside La Buca on the corner by Tapalaya. They remembered our names on the way out and even asked if they were pronouncing my name right. Sooo nice!!! We will be back. Thanks guys!!

I’ve been here a few times and the concept and food are fabulous! You do have to get there right at opening to get in without a long wait. I think the popularity of this place should suggest to the owners to either pop up in a larger space or open a full time restaurant. It’s such a tiny space and clearly the only down side is the wait time and crowds. Good job, Hunnymilk!

We went on a whim at about 10:30 on a Saturday. Wait was only about 5 minutes and the food was OMG delicious. They even accommodated the fact that I can't have eggs easily and offered to add avocado if I wanted (chose not). The biscuit and chorizo gravy dish I had was excellent as was the carrot cake waffle. One of the best things we had was my husband's poppy seed crepe (it had something called a semifreddo on top and a key lime curd inside) which was amazing.

I was drawn in to Hunnymilk by the concept and the food pics. Yesterday, brunch definitely delivered. Each component of my meal was fantastic and full of flAvor. $20 is perfectly reasonable considering the amount of food you get!

If you are looking for an unconventional menu that is ridiculously delicious and unexpected then this place is for you ! It’s just a bonus that the staff are so friendly, they even feed us treats and drinks while we waited for our table .

We had a party of 6 and waited for a table for about 25 mins. The food also took a while, but the host told us this in the beginning. The food did not disappoint though everyone at the table was beyond pleased! Kind of pricy, but worth it.

I bring my out of town visitors to Hunnymilk all the time. This was my 6th or 7th time there and the food was delicious as always. Manager and waiter were friendly and we all left with overstuffed, happy tummies.

What I consider great customer service is when you can walk into an establishment and you are greeted with a smile. As we sat and waited to be seated, each customer that came through the door was greeted also with the same smile. The food was very delicious. It came out within 8 to 10 minutes of my ordering. It's a small little personal cafe. One I will definitely be revisiting once. I make it back to Washington.

I was entirely captivated by my welcome to HunnyMilk. The warm greeting followed with a humorous education in less than a minute of how their restaurant works had me at hello! One item from the sweet column, one item from the savory column and a beverage of choice and you’re ready to order. (Bar available) There is magic and great vibes from the moment you arrive. Thoughtfully decorated in a clean, easily elegant style made me feel right at home. One price and a manageable variety of items to choose from made it easy to enjoy a hot cuppa, relax and wait for my guest. I’ve decided it is my favorite new haunt to take my friends; locals and visitors for tasty food. Pictured is the Carrot Cake Forever which was wonderful for Brunch Dessert with two glazed donuts, one with the Cream Cheese Pudding and the other Candied Carrot Butter. Added glaze and toffee for the finish. Delightful.

We loved our breakfast here! The Monte Cristo was one of the best I’ve ever had! The combination of flavors was outstanding. Portions are perfect. You will leave full but wont feel disgustingly full trying to leave your plate empty. If we had more days in Portland we would be back to try some of their sweet options.

Met a friend here. We were looking for something new and different. Everything tasted great with some really delicious flavors. They seem to be on to something because it was super busy pretty much the whole time we were there. Cozy little seating areas as well as the bar area. Happy people and happy service. The drinks were amazing, especially the hot chocolate :)

When you walk in you grab menu then order at the counter once you've decided what you want. They give you a number, them you find a table and seat yourself. When the foods ready they will bring it to you. The menu options all looked delicious, I ordered the chicken and waffles with bacon and a carrot cake donut. You get a nice combination of sweet and savory. I absolutely enjoyed my meal and would return if I'm ever in portland again.

HunnyMilk is an amazing brunch spot with a unique ordering process that sets it apart from other brunch locations. Their food is absolutely incredible and will leave you full and needing a to-go box! When ordering at HunnyMilk, you pick from a savory main dish, a sweet dessert and a drink to accompany your food, their are about 4-5 options for each selection and any number of combinations can be chosen. I chose the drinking chocolate, the cheesy herb biscuit and chorizo gravy and the strawberry shortcake bars. I was blown away at how exceptional this was. Easily the best tasting brunch food in Portland! You have got to try HunnyMilk

Seasonal breakfast menus where you’ll pick a drink, a savory dish, and a sweet dish. Lots of food. Enjoy your choice; you can’t go wrong.

Cute brunch place. Great place to meet up with some girlfriends. They have a pre fixe menu. You pick a drink, a sweet and a savory. Their egg benny was amazing and i loved the blueberry lemon donut. Would absolutely go back

THE MOST AMAZING HOLLANDAISE IN ALL THE LAND. I could swim in the benedict. i would consume buckets of the sauce. it’s sensational. and the best dessert was the blueberry one — served with ice cream that has lime zest on the top???? this place has a long line and you may think it’s not worth the wait, BUT the line moves quick and it’s so worth the wait. it’s a fixed menu, so you choose a beverage and an entree and a dessert. if i lived in this neighborhood i would go here every week.

We came in for a birthday brunch and the food was excellent. As we were a large group we sat at one of the bench tables. We had a lovely time!

This is a really cute brunch spot. You pick one item from each column and customize your own breakfast, a little bit of sweet, savory and your choice in drink. I had the coffee, benedict with added bacon and the apple churro. Every bite was really good and flavorful. I am not a brunch person but I enjoyed this place and it's atmosphere. It has a hipster vibe to it but it is Portland after all. You are able to refill your coffee at the coffee station and there's a pitcher of water at each table. I would not mind coming back here again.

Kind staff, creative menu, and a great deal. At any other brunch restaurant, each of the savory/sweet options could cost $20, but it’s nice that you get it all together for one price. I also really liked the hot chocolate, which had a hazelnut flavor and fun garnish. The only problem was that nothing I ordered was particularly hot, including my hot chocolate. Maybe it had been sitting in an expo window for too long.

Mixed experience at our table but I loved it. I got the jalapeno hush puppies plus the strawberry thing. Both fantastic. I loved that everything was doughnut inspired. Kids however did not love their chicken and waffles. Wife didn't care for her carrot cake sweet. And she didn't love the basic trays the food was served on, which she said resembled eating in wartime. Whatever. I write the reviews and I ordered well.

So delicious! We ate here twice on our trip and tried 4 different desserts. Favs were the carrot cake and strawberry but all were delicious. Highly recommend the everything eggs Benedict!

Loved the idea of a flat price for a savory and sweet dish with a drink. The price was reasonable for the quality. Reason for the four stars is due to how heavy most of the dishes are – would love to see some suggested combos on the menu to help prevent customers from getting two very heavy dishes.

Strong and tasty coffee, excellent food, pleasant environment. Staff is super pleasant, the restaurant is clean, and the environment is welcoming! My only critiques are: Seating choices-not a fan of couches as an option vs tables for practicality, although there were enough tables and other seats to not really make it a huge deal (but could see it being a problem if the place was packed). Food Price/Portion- ended up paying $60 for food for two people. Although it was delicious, I do feel like it was a bit overkill for the portion size. Overall, I’d eat here again. It’s a well managed establishment and the employees seem happy. I hope that the cost of their services reflects how the staff are taken care of!

This place is cool! Fast service despite the business and good foods! I love how they come up with savory and sweet meal in a plate with a choice of drinks. Would go back again and 9/10, I would recommend this place if you love brunch.
