This charming little eatery is excellent! We found it spur of the moment before we hit to road back to Idaho. I love the fact that the food at this restaurant is made by two ladies crafting thoughtful, homemade dishes slowly and with so much care 💕 The self serve locally roasted coffee station served in vintage tea cups was a darling touch. The place was white and bright and filled with light 🌞 It was such a cheery experience to dine here! We loved the homemade biscuits, the tiny dish of jam, the spicy Bloody Mary, the perfectly cooked eggs. I'll surely be back and I've already recommended this place to many friends.

Vivienne's is such a light filled welcoming space. The seasonal flavors are fantastic (rhubarb mimosas! Fruited breakfast bread puddings with rosemary cream!) The lovely old China tea cups and flowers on the table are a delight. This is a great spot to meet a friend.

Vivienne Kitchen is now open for dinner on Friday and Saturday nights! The hubs and I stopped in for an early dinner before seeing a movie at Hollywood Theatre and it was perfect. We had the Gin Punch and house Old Fashioned cocktails, the cheese board, beet and chèvre salad and arugula salad, followed by a lamb and feta burger and the chicken and vegetable pie. Everything was delicious, carefully and thoughtfully prepared. The pot pie had bits of crispy chicken skin, yum! We rounded out the meal with two desserts, an olive oil cake and a dark chocolate cake, both very tasty. A very lovely experience from start to finish, do yourself a favor and check it out.

We loved everything about our experience. The quality and price. The decor and friendly service. The perfect place for a slow breakfast to enjoy a conversation over quality coffee. Will be back many times over. Very happy to have discovered this place so close to home.

Wonderful shop full of great culinary cookbooks. She also has pastries and wine to enjoy at the secret bar and cooking classes she teaches from the books she sells too and more! I've attended 3 or 4 of the classes and each was informative and wonderful.

Bright and cozy spot with the smoothest, tastiest coffee served in little tea cups. The pastries are delightful; we had a lavender chocolate chip cookie today. And definitely stay for brunch or lunch also. The breakfast special of griddled bread pudding was delightful with peach jam and rosemary butter on top served with two eggs and bacon. And my partner got the breakfast sandwich and was equally impressed. We'll definitely be back.

A real gem. I ordered the special chickpea stew with a baked egg which comes with toast with an amazing herb butter melted on top. I also ordered a biscuit (so good) which came with jam & more herb butter on the side. Initially the stew felt like a small portion but I left incredibly full. Good coffee and a great drink menu which includes cocktails. Service was great, they were busy but made the time to acknowledge me the moment I stepped in. Can't wait to come back and try more of the menu.

Incredible selection of cookbooks, and a unique set up where you can sit down, sip some wine and try whatever delicacy is made that day. They also have really cool events dedicated to cook books! Highly recommend checking them out!

The people and the food at Vivienne’s are some of my favorites. Sweet and kind Robin and Angel are usually there when I visit.I LOVE the turmeric bone broth! It kept me going last winter when it was hard to get food to go. The biscuits- yes! Everything I have ordered at Vivienne’s is high-quality and nummy. Go there and enjoy!

I had a very pleasant breakfast here and the staff was friendly and inviting. The cafe is very cute, with it's vintage odds and ends, and seating was plentiful for such a small shop. I had the Two Baked Eggs on Toast, which they were willing to cook the eggs medium for me. It was light and delicious. I also had an Almond Roche which was just the right amount of sweetness to end my meal. I'll definitely stop in here again to try more of their menu.

One of my favorite local businesses. Shortly after I moved to Portland, Vivienne's became a hot spot. I'm from Alabama so I've had many biscuits in my life, and the bakers here have stolen the spot in my heart for best biscuits EVER (sorry Mom). These ladies are also some of the kindest souls. Friends from Idaho visited me in Portland, and the first place I took them was Vivienne's. My friend is lactose intolerant, and they were out of milk substitutions so Robin whipped up some hemp milk in front of us! Super thoughtful. Anytime anyone is craving brunch, this neighborhood kitchen is the first place I suggest!

Breakfast sandwich - the best in NE Portland. Charming and elegant place with fresh bakery items, home style cooked breakfasts and lunch. An excellent service. Run by people who seem to care about the quality of the food. Each meal is prepared by hand and served hot!. Excellent coffee by the way. Small and well cared for. Located next to the Hollywood Theater. Been here several times and will be back. Good also for families with kids. Really nice friendly people.

Always good. I've loved this place from the time they opened. Such a small little place, but everything they do is done with love and is delicious. Their baked goods are stellar, absolutely the best coffee, and everything I've ever had has been excellent. Great breakfast and lunch.

What a sweet and warm place! You feel like you're going over to your friends house where everything coming out of the kitchen is done with simple ingredients but prepared well. I can honestly say that visiting here will give you the start to your day or a nice end to your evening. The staff is pleasant and friendly, the food is wonderful, and the ambiance is light and airy. Yes, it is photograph worthy for those that care.

One of my favorite neighborhood places. Robin has done such a great job decorating the space -- it's light and airy and I always feel like I'm on vacation somewhere wonderful when I'm there. The food is lovely -- perfect portion sizes and interesting combos. Healthy and delicious. My favorite dish is the breakfast porridge -- I could happily eat it every day. A fantastic addition to the Hollywood 'hood!
