The Rookery - Portland - Photo album

Despite being quite busy during lunch rush hour, we were seated pretty quickly, and our waitress was quite pleasant and attentive. Service was speedy. The food was spectacular. The farm salad was good, perhaps nothing to write home about, but the shepherd's pie was phenomenal. I'm inspired to try to
A great place for a date as the meal comes out in good pace to savor flavors and allows for conversation about things other than ther food in front of you. Atmosphere is very calming when you sit away from the bustling kitchen. Decor shows tight constraint to modern Portland style. Fresh ingredients
Came here again for our anniversary. The rabbit and venison are excellent, but the rabbit was the best of the two. The frisee salad was good but expensive. Went there for Valentines, they had a 5 course menu, small portions, but oh boy were they delicious!!! 1000 stars. Planning to come back for a regular menu.
Great happy-hour crowd at the bar upstairs which also has a pool table. Gets lively but also chill. The bartenders, Zach was taking care of my libation needs, was attentive even when it got busy. The happy-hour menu is a nice twist from the traditional bar food. The shepherds pie is rich and full of
