The staff were super friendly and the store very clean. They seem to have a lot of wasted space and could use some more tables when busy. I like the layout (other than the seating). This is a great stop on your way to the book store.

Closest to the NW Portland Hostel and has Reserve Blend available. Kind and knowledgeable baristas: Tip your barista!!

Okay so This location is a vibe. Shout-out to Levi, Elle, and Sam for being All-Stars… they really slayyy hard! It’s honestly giving excellence. Joe & Bailey are always a delight. The bathrooms are usually clean and the service is quick. The interior is clean!

Fantastic ambience. Great quality, as would be expected from the brand name (Starbucks). Great place to hangout or chit chat with your loved ones! Staff is courteous as well.

I actually like this location. One of the baristas there is super nice and talks about being a nanny. I have a 20 month old. Quick service. Same coffee. Other customers more on the normal side since it's the Pearl. I like the asthetics and seating. I have been here over a dozen times and will keep going when in the area.

This Starbucks has an awesome open floor plan, its like the Flip or Flop people came in and tore the walls down because open floor plans are the bees knees. Usually there is a guy hanging out at the bar that smells like he hasnt showered in a few days, so minus one star for smell.

Love this place. I used to only get a clover when I went to Powells Books. Now I give a ride to my son for his job at the Canopy Restruant 5 times a week. I get excellent coffee at Starbucks 5 times a week. Lucky me.

The staff here really care about their customers even when those customers are in the middle of a mental health situation. Seriously, they really do care about people and resolving situations peacefully if possible. I'm a regular here and in a way they're my extended family now.✌️

Love this place, even though the price of a cup of coffee has gone up a dollar in the last year the long time employee gave me a free coffee the other day. That never happens anywhere else I go regularly.

Possibly the best Starbucks I have ever been to. Whoever does the hiring for this location is spot on, because some of the nicest people I have ever met work here. And like genuinely nice, not customer service nice. Drinks will be the same at every location, so it’s really the team that makes the Starbucks.

The location is really good. Always get greeted with a warm smile and an "how's your day?". During the morning, the wait time is not that bad. During rush hour, they get it out in a reasonable time. The staff is super kind. The atmosphere is super comfy. I've been to a lot of Starbucks and this one tops it. I love the tall windows to let natural light in as well as seeing the sunset.

For over 12 yrs, this has always been my absolute fave Starbucks. Mostly because it's look is very different than any other I've been to. It has an industrial style with 2 story ceiling and exposed pipes, etc. Of course, staff has changed over time, but I have always had pleasant experiences and have had brief conversations with many, especially ones who've recognized me. 😁 A plus in my book. Anyway, there are several types of seating: bar, long tables, bistro, and outdoor. The bonus and the reason I discovered it in the first place is it's location directly across the street from Powell's City of Books. Depending on the hour I'm either headed to Starbucks and decide to go to Powell's or vice versa. Like most other places, COVID-19 has restricted full capacity and much shorter hours closing at 6p. Initially it was matching Powell's reopening hours, but they close later now. I'm hopeful they'll return to longer hours when all variations of COVID are gone.
