Very cute breakfast and lunch spot with a phenomenal view from the outdoor seating. The restaurant is surrounded by the beautiful nursery plants and it's up high so it offers sweeping views of Portland. The breakfast food was really delicious and fresh! The perfect serving, not huge but filling and satisfying. And I didn't mind their order at the counter then get your food delivered to your table and so what if we bused our table? It felt kind of homey.
Its a great place to go to, beautiful flowers and plants to choose from, and friendly people to help you out for what your looking for your home. Also great coffee shop to relax in when your through shopping or before you shop, beautiful place, I can spend hours just to walk around in..
It was really good. The caramel mocha was not as sweet as I thought it will be. Just nice. The food was awesome. This place is good and I am bringing my husband & son to this coffee shop soon. Plus the nursery... wow!
If you are looking for a perfect brunch place with yummy food, good coffee, amazing views , and friendly service, don't miss Cornell Farm Cafe. It's one of the best scenic cafes in the Portland area. We stopped by this morning for some coffee and didn't want to leave. Love it!
Beautiful place with a great selection of plants and garden structures, they style everything nicely and the cafe is lovely. I will certainly go again!!
I had an appointment down the road, one I wasn't looking forward to. I made it a point to go early enough to walk through the lovely Cornell Farm gardens, take time to smell the roses, and then had a leisurely lunch in the Cafe. I came back after the not-so horrible appointment and took home plants for my garden. Can't wait for my next appointment.
We love to have a brunch or just coffee. Beautiful surrounds whether summer or winter but the outside seating is great when it is sunny. Food is delicious and they have vegan options. Bring back your avocado and eggs. We are on the west coast and they are not out of season as we were told by your cashier. LOL.

Love the selection and everyone is very helpful, I had 3 different people ask me if I had questions, which I did. A bit pricy but great quality!
Great little spot to have a quiet breakfast, super friendly and food was great. Can’t wait for the next trip.
Such a beautiful nursery with friendly and helpful staff! This is now one of my favorite spots to visit.
The best avocado toast I have ever had. And for me that says a lot. I honestly didn't think much of it when I ordered it. But the first bite gripped me like a vice. Gosh damn. Staff are so friendly as well! So that's another positive. Ample seating outside. Parking was a bit difficult but I got lucky and got one in the front. I tried the Matcha Pie Latte from their seasonal menu and that was delicious too. Didn't have that powdery matcha taste nor was it too sweet. Which I appreciated. I would love to dine-in next time.
This place is great! Make reservations or you’ll wait forever for a table. We shared the Belgium Waffle and Breakfast sandwich. Just delicious. After breakfast we visited the gorgeous chickens behind the restaurant. Finally, we strolled around to find plants/flowers and everything/anything you need for gardening. It’s definitely a fun experience! Best to go during the week.
Good food! Service was great up until the end when we went to the bakery section & waited for quite a bit despite the fact that there were 4 people behind the counter, whatever they were doing must’ve been more important that helping us out :)
Place is nicely decorated & has a very homey vibe.
Thus is a fun Cafe. The staff were really nice and helpful. There was a wait to be seated, which worked out well in giving us time to look at the chickens and the garden shop. They have a couple of gluten free menu items and saw a gluten free cookie in the case I'll get next time. The London For was really good and so was the coffee. We got the scramble and breakfast sandwich and would order them again.
Get here early, put your name in the list, then your the grounds while you wait. It’s totally worth it I promise!
Everything is baked in house each morning. The Benedict was mind altering. I’ll never be able to have a Benedict anywhere else.
Stupid delicious!
I have passed the Cornell Farm Cafe years ago and I finally was able to try it out! I got the Breakfast Sandwich and it was delicious! It was savory & sweet all in one. My husband got the omelette, but he said it lacked flavor and wished there were more potatoes for the price of the plate. We liked the atmosphere and we would try it out again in the future!
Adorable cafe, loved the little patio. We were outside on a cold morning, but since it was covered with plenty of heat lamps, we were very comfortable. The food was delicious and the service was excellent! We'll be back the next time we're in Portland.

We've been to this cafe several times and it's never disappointed. Be prepared for a long wait, but it's worth it. (Or make reservations in advance!) Farm fresh ingredients, good service and beautiful views of the farm. We ordered drinks for the first time - a spicy bloody mary and a blackberry mojito - both delicious. Our omelettes were cooked to perfection and we split a half order of the waffles for fun - GOOD CHOICE. Simply put - Quaint, lovely and delicious.
Really good food
The breakfast slider could have had more spread on it.
Great service and loved the atmosphere. We hadn't been here before and didn't know we would be sitting outside. Lovely heaters, but it was still a little cold.
People brought their doggos, too.
This review is just for the cafe. The nursery is an entirely different thing and I can't even do justice to how awesome that one is.
The location is amazing with beautiful views of the hills afar and the nursery up close. They have both indoor and covered, heated outdoor seating. Wait times can be formidable on weekends, but it's entirely worth it. Also, you can get great coffee while you wait.
Service is great - both from the host and your server. During busy times, it may take a while for food to arrive. But when it does, it looks and tastes delicious. They accommodate vegetarian dietary preferences on many dishes. Highly recommend this place for a relaxing weekend brunch when you're not in a hurry.
