I love it here but I don’t want to tell anyone else because then it will be busy and I wouldn’t have a spot at the bar.

One of my favorite spots. Not your typical bar food, very good fare, not what you would expect. I always order at least 3 appetizers. My favorite is the make your own Bruschetta where you can pick from a variety of toppings and even goat cheese! Bartenders are great for cocktails and they have a good selection beers available. A must visit if you're in St. John's. Cheers -

Awesome. Love the staff, owners, and patrons. Never gets too rowdy as many other places tend to (read: St Johns drunk) and I feel safe there as a female solo. The food is great and the drink specials and summer popsicles are super fun!! Highly recommend.

Best cocktails in NoPo! Friendly service and a great clientele makes this one of the best bars in Portland.

We got the bruschetta with pesto and 2 panini sandwiches with a side of homemade chips. The chips were super delicious. The service was ok, it was a bit slow for how few people were there. It is dog friendly. Outside is smoking so we sat around the corner and had no issues with the smoke.

Leisure has shown their support for PAT during our strike movement for safer schools for PDX families! You’ve opened a teacher tab and given us nothing but love-even before the strike we gather in your space to unwind, brainstorm and connect with our community even further as educators. We appreciate your solidarity and support now and always. Thank you so much- James John Elementary Educators

The cheese plate was the best I have ever had. A pot of my honey took it from good to great. The dress figs and dates on were the perfect addition to go with the blue cheese and goat cheese. The bread was toasted and the perfect size for some honey, blue cheese and slices of pear. The plate with pickled vegetables and bread was delicious but I ate so much off the cheese plate that I couldn't eat much of the pickled vegetables. I am to chop some small and add them to a tuna and beansalad

We were visiting the St John area from another part of Oregon and we looooved this neighborhood bar. The food is deceivingly yummy, the folks who work there were kind, drinks were good and the vibe was chill. Would highly recommended stopping by, you will be happy you did.

Leisure is such a delight and very comfortable place to go, for a drink or some amazingly great food. Not the typical Grease pit bar food. I really love that there are no video poker machines, and some how one of the only bars that has no riffraff running in & out constantly. I do not go out often, or alone. If I am alone, it is literally the only bar I feel completely at home & safe. The sweet owners & the great staff are truly genuine and kind people. I have been a loyal fan for almost a decade now! No other establishment has ever gotten my love & devotion like Leisure. I recommend a visit to all who will listen. A shout out to all of the local artists they display for sale there too! Oh, & can't forget the customers are pretty cool people too. Great & very intriguing conversations are had at all times.

My absolute favorite bar in St. John’s. First place I went to when I moved up years ago and it felt like home immediately. You need to try their hummus plate. And every sandwich. Also their old fashioned is unbeatable. The owner infused sugar cubes with rosemary and then bartenders muddled the bitters before adding the spirit. Chefs kiss. Also the chef is like the cutest sweetest lady. Forever recommended!

Every neighborhood should have that key neighborhood bar that's the meeting spot and anchor for the area, Leisure is exactly this. If you're looking for a spot with a welcoming vibe, awesome tap list and bartenders that treat everyone as a neighbor, then this is the place to be!

I love this place. Comfortable, friendly staff and cozy atmosphere. Revolving artwork. Ping pong and botchie ball. Panini's are on point. My fave is the apple wood bacon.. the kind of place to take a date, or your mom. Definitely the classiest bar in St John's.

Leisure public house is a fantastic spot to chill while in Portsmouth/St. John's area. They have a killer outside area that includes pingpong and bochee ball. Don't let the size of the place fool you, it's there around the corner outside. Additionally the staff, food and drinks are on point. If you got under the projector, careful as the arm chair will swallow you slowly!

Delicious food. We were surprised by the offerings...this is an upscale "dive" bar. Friendly staff...wish I lived closer, this would be my regular home bar.

My partner and I live in the neighborhood, and this is our favorite spot to get drinks and food! The vibes are good, which keeps us coming back! I appreciate how the bartenders are super friendly and personable. Every time we come in, the bartender remembers the last conversation we had together. It’s nice to feel welcomed in that neighborly way! We also enjoy the food and drinks! Never a dull moment here! We’re thankful to have this place through the pandemic. It keeps us sane.
