One of my favorite places because it's fast and extremely cheap! Not only that but their sushi qualify is unbelievable for their prices. They have really good service but I would recommend going for an earlier dinner. Sushi land gets really crowded and it is not a late night dinner because they have barely any sushi by the end of the night! I would definetly recommend this place though! My mom and me come here all the time for a fast, cheap, and yummy lunch.
This place rocks. Best quality sushi train sushi. Great prices.
Best sushi-track type place I've been to. Be sure to ask for a miso soup and the calimari. Both are not typically on the track and are excellent. Also look for the flash fried salmon carcass. They are a real treat and have a decent amount of flesh left on the rib cage and head. It's a simple joy to pick at while enjoying the show!
Mothra Says...Godzilla Plate of Sushi. After a long day at the office, I surprised K with a "to go dinner" from Sushi Land at Bridgeport in Tigard. We have visited Sushi Land probably on 8 occasions in the last couple of years. It is clean, fast, efficient, friendly, and I love to admit…. really inexpensive. While I waited for my "family" portion of dinner to be prepared (I assume family means about 4 humans….. big LOL as the two of us shared this with only about 10 pcs leftover), I joined the crowd, sat, had a hot tea, and a couple of sushi's off of the moving rubber belt. Ann greeted me with a smile and a "how can I help you today?." The servers were efficient and polite. After about 15 minutes, my 32 piece (I know, can you believe it?) dinner was ready for pick up.
At the Casa de Mothra, we enjoyed tuna rolls topped with mackerel caviar, sliced salmon sushi, sliced tuna sushi, tuna rolls topped with crab in a creamy mixture, maki rolls with thin egg on the exterior, maki rolls with cold scrambled egg & caviar, octopus sushi, squid sushi, rice in a sweet brown package (I confess that I do not know what these are called…… but they are lovely to eat). In addition, add to the list sliced prawn sushi. This is just a fun and tasty place to eat good sushi.
And this aforementioned family plate was one single Andrew Jackson…..I know……. I know! Mothra says….One of my favorites… 3.5 of 5.0
Inexpensive good quality sushi. This place gets very busy at lunchtime. If you're going with more than a couple of people, you'll probably have to wait for a spot. The sushi is good, and varied. Unlike a lot of other places, they actually label the more interesting dishes which is great for beginners. It's easy to get in and out of here for under $10 - and the plate prices are cheaper than all the local competition.
The food is delicious and very well priced for the quality. The only thing I would say is that sitting further away from the entrance the longer you’ll be waiting to get your check and need to wave someone down just to leave.
Just had lunch and it was pretty good. Servers were nice and friendly. Their portions were good ans the fish tasted fresh. The price was awesome! Had a crunch roll with some sauces drizzled over, a little big to eat in one bite but was delicious! Wish they had a little more variety but it definitely satisfied my sushi craving!
Everything was really good and quick service. I love the little entrees and the moving food tray so you can help yourself or order also the waitresses are very attentive and friendly. Fun place to go for a quick bite to eat and with friends. Great prices too! I bought 3 different plates, a $3, $2, $1 and I was full. I even boxed one of my sushi rolls for my husband because I couldn't finish it and he loves sushi so I figured he would want to go there now and try it! 😂 Definitely will be back soon.
The sushi was good but not great. I enjoyed it. The prices are good. they could stand to take some sushi roll making lessons. EDIT I've been back 3 times since my first visit. I think they have improved! Prices are great, portions are good sized and the quality was good. I'm changing it to 5 stars. Great value!
A solid standard for chain-style sushi on the belt but also made to order, if one desires. The staff is generally very kind/helpful so I like who they hire both as sushi chefs and wait staff. Sometimes, the sushi has made a few too many spins on the belt and tastes tired/older but again, it CAN be made to order if you have the time to wait or want something not on the belt (usually something above $3 plates). I've eaten here literally more times than I can count, never once gotten ill at all from any of the food, so they do use quality fish and ingredients and overall offer a pretty good deal for sushi relative to other places I've eaten. It's a safe 'staple' of a sushi spot in that regard. I recommend it and will continue going back here as I have many times before.
This one doesn't have all the items like sushiland in Portland or clackamas. But it is near to he Bridgeport mall which is super cool. It has great natural lighting and the staff are very welcoming
Pretty much the best track sushi chain in the area. It's affordable and pretty fresh. Service can be lacking, especially during the lunch rush. But we go 1 to 2x a week for lunch since it's a quick lunch place during work lunch break.
Good sushi for the price, nice variety and sides. The wait in the late evenings is usually quite reasonable. Staff is friendly, even if not the most knowledgeable about Japanese cuisine. Could stand to be a little cleaner, but overall I enjoy eating here quite a bit and come frequently.
The Finest and Cheapest (Sushi Bars).
I've had my fair share of sushi from numerous places, and this is one of my favorite locations due to a few reasons. One of those reasons is because the food here is really good and, for the most part, taste fresh (sometimes not so much). The other reason is that the staff and the owners do a nice job at ensuring that the place is very clean, which makes it more of a cozy and pleasant dine-in experience. I really don't have any complaints about the place, and it meets my expectations every time.
This is by far our most favorite sushi restaurant in the town. No one else beat them on the quality at such low price. They are really running by Japanese people although some of Mexican cooker are hired. But they are all good and food is real Japanese authentic. We go to this restaurant almost at least once a week.
The Food is great and the location is fantastic. I love the Calamari, Spicy Tuna, Vegas Roll and the Sashimi is very delicious. The service isn't always there but the taste is. Don't come in here expecting to have your socks blown off. It's Cheap and Fast but most importantly delicious. If you come expecting that the guy acknowledged got your order but hasn't come for a few minutes don't be surprised. It's getting done and will be there also don't be afraid to ask again.
12/11/16: 4.0 out 5 - This Sushiland is small, and can get busy really quickly. However, the quality of food is higher than most other Sushiland, and the service is good. The place is clean and for the most part. It should be expected since it's near the Bridgeport Shopping Center.
The place does seem to do a lot of call-in orders which can slow things down a but if you are seated and ordering.
So try it once and decide for yourself.
