*Wing week 2018*- The pork bun, maubai, and the wings were all killer. The wings had a kick that grew over time but was controlled by the subtle but everso pleasent smokey undertones. The spicy had flavor also, pair that with the kimchi-ranch and this is yet another winning dish. All around kickass place that will make you consider ordering some to take home halfway through the meal *burger week 2018* the sliders were delightful with great buns, sauce and all around feel. They went with American chez which isn't real cheese but that being the only mark down isn't enough to keep me from coming back

Small little joint that’s great for their bibimbaps. The kimchi trio is a LOT of kimchi, so make sure you’re sharing if you order it!

Great little place, tasty. We did the bowl + Galbi short rib, I like the KJG Gochujang sauce, but all are great. Pulled pork steamed bun is delicious.

I tried the pulled pork bun and bowl. The meat was deliciously smokey, way more than half the "bbq" places I have been to. I was quiet pleasantly surprised. They also have two great ipa's so it was a hit for me. The sauces are on display to taste before ordering which is a bonus. I would for sure recommend popping in here to sit down or take out if in the area.

One of the most remarkable meals I have eaten. From the citron Soju to the kimchi flight to the happy family (three meat entree) each of the flavors was unique in my experience and amazingly good. If you get the Happy Family, try each meat with its adjacent sauce. They are perfectly paired.

Quick service, great food, great customer service. Enjoy your chop sticks! "Dessert" is spelled incorrectly.

First time here, and heading back to Asia, so maybe the only time. I hate to give 5 stars on one visit, but my bibimbap with smoked pork was amazing.

Just had the Short Ribs with the house special hot sauce and in a food coma of delight. I will be making this a more frequent lunch option.

Although we were in Portland, and not the South, we were pleasantly surprised at the quality of the barbecue. The deviled eggs with spicy links were stellar, and I strongly recommend them! The pork cheeks were seasoned themselves, but they definitely needed sauce. The ketchup- and mustard-based sauces were very good, as was the old fashioned. The service could have been a little more attentive. I didn't like that they couldn't garnish my old fashioned with an orange because they'd used the last orange to make an employee a mimosa...to drink on the job.

This place was amazing. It's the best pulled pork sandwich I've had yet in Portland. We came on a Sunday night and got a table outside immediately. I got an oyster shooter and a pulled pork sandwich with coleslaw and mac'n'cheese n the side. My boyfriend got the cornbread and the ribs with asparagus and potato salad. Our shooter and cornbread came out quick and were delicious. The cornbread was great. It was nothing compared the sandwich. Our food came out late due to our ticket getting lost but they more than made up for it and it was worth the wait. We'll definitely return for the great food and service.

Small but trendy BBQ place that we chanced upon for lunch. The ribs and brisket were amazing. They have a few different sauces on the table and each one is different but I found the vinegar based one to be the best. I found the collard greens too sweet but that could be a individual taste thing.

Simple BBQ but everything was a step above typical BBQ fare. Burnt ends were delicious. Different from others I've had and were juicier with a touch of sauce. Baked beans were excellent and I could have made a meal from just a bowl of these. The cornbread was a perfect compliment to the spicy, savory BBQ. It comes drenched in honey. I tried the classic, spicy, and mustard-based sauces. All were quite good and I enjoyed the mustard-based sauce much more than I typically do. Minor downside is beer is cans/bottles only. I'll be back again.

This is one of my favorite restaurants in Portland and certainly has the best Bloody Marys around. They make most of their menu on site including delicious smoked meats, pickled veggies and side and sandwiches. I usually order the 3 item combo plate which lets you picked 3 smoked meats like burnt brisket ends, chicken, sausage, salmon, or RIBS. THIS IS SERIOUS FOOD, PEOPLE. Seating is limited inside but 2 tables on the sidewalk offer excellent people watching with incredible food you can smell blocks away.

Truly one of the best places to eat on 21st St. they’re super fast with to go. The rice bowls are fantastic. The ribs are almost as good as some of the places I’ve eaten (Arthur Bryants, Oklahoma Joe’s etc) in Kansas City for bbq. I walk out of there super happy every time I finish a meal there.
