Mee Gin Soul Kitchen - Portland - Photo album

I was craving Thai food during our trip to Portland (maybe because of cold weather and rain). So after doing some Yelp research we ended up in this small spot. I like that the interior of the place is authentic yet quite modern and the owner/chef/waiter (I believe it’s the same person) makes you fee
Food was great. Very authentic Thai, good ingredients. Good service. The spiciness of the food is measured on scale of 1 to 5, but 3 seemed pretty spicy. I will definitely come here again.
The food was / is amazing. Very understated location. Definitely worth a stop.
My aunt is Thai, and I have never had any egg rolls that stood up to her’s right after they were done. That changed today. This is the best egg roll I’ve had in a long time. 100% recommend.
Stop looking, you’ve found it. This is the spot. Try the soups, get the curries. When I tried the broth for the first time I almost fell out of my seat. Amazing high quality food!
Wow! So delicious. Ordered the mushroom fritters, mushroom veg soup, coconut soup and salad rolls. Everything was sooooo gooooood. Friendly service, decently priced.
Best thai food I've had in a long time. Didnt have photos because the food was so delicious we ate it all before we could. The thai tea you can get coconut milk as a non dairy substitute, the papaya salad was fresh, citrusy, and crisp and comes in a really cool tall clay pot! The pad thai with shrim
Best fried rice I’ve ever had! I eat a lot of Thai food and this place is exceptional. Went twice this week, both times front of house was entirely run by 1 lady doing a spectacular job. Very impressed with everything.
Mee Gin is a standard for our family. We absolutely love it and are never diaspointed. Beyond the Thai staples, they have some really interesting and delicious items that we haven't seen at other resturants such as the fried mushrooms or mushroom salad. I'm always shocked there aren't more people
Hands down the best Thai food in Portland. I’ve been a repeat customer here for 3 years and nothing compares (and yes I’ve tried many other places after moving further away). Highly recommend the lettuce wraps and salad rolls with the sauces meant for the lettuce wraps instead of peanut sauce. Also
This restaurant has the best Tom Kha. They use a different mushroom than every other Tom Kha I've had in town. They're long, white, and slender vs the normal porcini looking ones. It totally changes the taste and takes it above any other I've had in Portland. The rest of the food has also been good.
The service was phenomenal and the quality of the food was excellent. I was pleasantly surprised with how delicious everything was. We ordered the salad rolls with the hot peanut sauce and the Mee Gin Fried Rice as the entree. Both were full of flavor and we just couldn't get enough. The tofu was al
Didn't realize Harlow closed early on Sundays but it worked out in my favor because I finally tried this place next door. Definitely coming back.
Because I live right off Hawthorne, there are so many Thai places to choose from, but Mee Gin is my favorite in the area. The pineapple fried rice is my favorite, and I generally don’t like pineapple in savory dishes. Somehow, though, they make it work well in the yellow curry. If you dine in, the w
I thought I had found my favorite Thai place in SW, but this place beat them pretty easily. Everything looked fresh and had great flavor, well seasoned, and the pandan leaf flavored water was a total treat! Tastes like fresh toasted rice/coconut - very refreshing, and has some cool medicinal qualiti
