Hanoi Kitchen - Portland - Photo album

If you want the best Vietnamese in town, branch out from your typical order and ask your server what to get. This place should be packed nightly. Yes, service is a little slow, but how do you bounce back from a pandemic with a full staff when you only have a few tables a night? Reviews that dock sta
If your looking for authentic food that takes time this is the place. They don't skimp on quality or ingredients. Be mindful that you're waiter is your chef as well and food is not pre-made and you will have to wait a bit, but it's worth it.
Large vegan/vegetarian menu, super nice people and great food. We ordered some Hanoi specialty food and 2 vegetarian dishes, had lots of extra to bring home. The place is full of live plants, some are currently blooming, which adds to the pleasantness. Parking around the corner in the neighborhood w
I don't understand why this place is empty at lunchtime. Normally I ordered the pho but this time I decided to get the pork and seafood soup (D1) instead. It was delicious. The broth was flavorful, rice noodles had just a touch of chewiness, shrimp was cooked just right, the fish balls had just the
So delicious and the service was fast and friendly. Glad we stopped by for lunch!
One of the MOST underrated Vietnamese restaurants in Portland. Hanoi kitchen should be on any meaningful Portland food list. Not sure why they aren’t getting the press they deserve. The owner is incredibly passionate about the food they put out and you can taste the love in the food. Covid has heavi
Delicious and delightful! My companion and I ordered the shrimp salad rolls as an app to share and both got the vegan pho for our meal. Both were wonderful, the vegan pho is a real standout. Huge bowl of deliciously flavored broth, plenty of noodles and lots of fresh veggies. I’m unfortunately not a
Delicious, high quality ingredientss. The meat was so tender and the broth was bright and interesting. Lots of yummy herbs provided, and a good bit of spice.
Great options for both vegans and meat eaters. Best vegan pho broth I’ve had. Super friendly server and delicious food.
this place has a large menu including a large vegan menu and has many delicious authentic options that can't be found elsewhere in Portland. they are closed every Monday to cook their broth for 24 hours -- best vegan pho broth in town IMO
Omg. The soups here are incredible. I wasn’t feeling so good so I ordered the C1. It’s got crab rolls, pork, beef and veggies and it’s super super spicy but in the perfect way. I will definitely be back. The people that own it are delightful and very kind. Seek this place out for authentic Vietnames
The food was great. Real ingredients, fast service , simple but not cheap . The best food I ate the entire week. My only drawback is the ambient that has no charm.
It's like you'd order bun cha directly on the streets of Ha Noi. Had a great flashback, as I lived in HaNoi quite a bit and I forgot that every little l burb after the food reminds you how yummy this stuff was. Thank you.
Good food, good atmosphere, great service, vermicelli E3 chicken. Star deducted because I had the shrimp addition for $2 and got two cold shrimp on top. Not what I was expecting.
Best Vietnamese food in Portland! It’s our go to brunch place and we have yet to try a dish we don’t like. Everything is super flavorful and tasty! Recommend the rice crepes.
The vegan pho was seriously amazing! Very flavorful and excellent pricing. The staff were incredibly kind as well. I got my food to go but the atmosphere in the restaurant was very calm and nice, seems like a great place for a low-key date night. Definitely my go to pho spot now 👍
The food here is delicious and there's something for everyone. Big flavors in big dishes. This spot is an established family-owned restaurant and all the food is so comforting and it feels like it was cooked in someone's home rather than a restaurant kitchen. Highly recommend. :)
This was our first time visiting Hanoi Kitchen. The restaurant was very clean and appealing with live plants everywhere. The owner was very kind and friendly. Then the fish sauce wings came,, OMG! They were huge and delicious! Then we had the pork soup and tamarind pork combo. Both were amazing, but
