1st time here from out of town but my daughter recommends this place & brought me for dinner. Walked in, no wait, & was seated. Easy to understand color menu for sushi plates on the revolving track. Delicious & filling.

Sushi Chiyo is our go-to sushi restaurant. I have been to the Vancouver, WA one and the Sandy Blvd one in Portland, and they are both wonderful. It's conveyer belt style, but you can also place an order and they will make it fresh. I have yet to have anything on their menu you that I do not like. The restaurant is clean, the staff is very friendly and their service is quick and efficient!

We love this place. It's conveyor belt sushi with an uncontrived relaxed atmosphere. Maybe not the best sushi around but better than many and the good beer, good service, good prices, and atmosphere make it a local fave right next to Hollywood theater. Parking isn't awful and the place works well with kids and wheelchair access is ok but it's hard to get one up to the belt.

This sushi bar it is so good! The sushi is delicious! It is located in the Hollywood area southeast Portland A lot of of other business around restaurants, banks, the max line is near by, it is near the freeway I 84. The people are very friendly. The prices are good. And that place is very clea. I add a few pictures I just don’t remember the name of the plates I had 😆😆 I was too busy eating.

Everything was fresh and the portions were unusually generous, particularly for sushi, (nice value but can cause you to over order when you are used to other sushi restaurants). Wait staff was perfect for me, left me alone but attentive when I wanted. The music was pretty loud, Mandarin (not Japanese) and punctuated by some type of drama with some woman crying and pleading loudly. It got fairly uncomfortable. I ordered tempura veggies, my portion was HUGE (probably meant for two) and included asparagus and sweet potato, but the Tentsuyu broth that came with it was over-the-top salty and inedible.

An excellent and very affordable sushi place. I'm glad that they survived and I will be going here on a regular basis. It's a great place for a nice quick affordable sushi fix. I really enjoy having a conveyor belt sushi place

I love sushi, particularly sashimi so this affordable train with big fish slices and a little bit of rice is perfect. Their salmon and tuna is awesome, and their unagi is worth asking for as it is not always on the belt. My favorite sushi train in portland!

Its one of those places with the Sushi belt.. The best kind in my opinion. love the food and the service, great taste and great prices. A great variety of items available, the place seems very laid back .. Not too crowded. Hope to visit again while I am here in Portland.

Excellent conveyor belt sushi. This place has it all figured out - lots of continuous fresh choices on the belt, ample condiments, attentive fast wait staff, and… big water glasses! This last part is important for me - I’m not a big fan of always hunting for staff for a simple water refill. The glasses here are the perfect giant size - no refills needed!

Sushi Chiyo is one of the better conveyor belt sushi places out there (that's kind of an oxymoron though, right? ;)). It's kid-friendly, reasonably priced, and the staff are friendly. If you're looking for a conveyor belt sushi place in the area, look no further.

My kid and I’s go-to sushi-go-round. It’s not perfect, but we like it

I adore sushi belt places! This was my first time visiting here. My daughter and I dropped in after I picked her up from flying into PDX. Parking is tricky (we went a few blocks up and parked at the McDonald's then walked back) but worth it. I think we hit them during a slow day/time so there was awhile between getting our plates off the belt and eaten and then getting the bill as it seemed everyone went on break suddenly.😅 But, will gladly go back...fresh sushi and the cream cakes were tasty to finish lunch with.❤️

I go here for my regular sushi fix when I don't want to spend a ton of money. For a rotary style place it's super fresh and tasty, I was even there once when their literal fisherman came by with his pole and cooler. I recommend ordering off the menu as well, servers are a bit hard to grab on busy days, but it's worth it for a fresh creation not in the rotation. I'd say this place has a lot more variation on the conveyor belt than Ohana and prioritizes nigiri, which is a win for me. Their crab salad is a touch sweet FYI not always my thing!

Top tier sushi, excellent and fast service, and a very surprising variety. We came with a full party of six and still got seated almost immediately during prime weekend busy hours. Fed the whole group for less than $20 a person.
