Delightful espresso, good vibes. Uses Onyx beans, an excellent 3rd wave roaster. Cortado with Costa Rica beans, had notes of chocolate, caramel, and almost like a soft-serve vanilla ice cream deliciousness.
Son had a hot chocolate, and it was delightfully decadent.
Will return again and again.
Very welcome spot in the coveted Sellwood area of Portland! Great atmosphere and delicious drip + outdoor seating and LOTS of plants.
Great local coffee shop with extremely helpful staff. The young lady who took our orders was very down to earth and made the perfect pour over for us. We went to other pour over coffee shops in the area but this one was the best. We are suckers for coffee & every time we visit a new place we love to explore the coffee scene. We were not disappointed here. For food they have a few pastries and I believe they also make toast but we came for the coffee. We sat and read for an hr and enjoyed our coffees. Definitely recommend.
A wonderful little coffee shop in the Sellwood area. They have an amazing array of toasts and a near perfect cappuccino. I loved all the hanging plants, gave the place a real zen vibe.
Look at this beautiful banana and peanut butter toast! I think this photo says it all. Love their coffee too! Definitely recommend.
This place is quiet and relaxing. Its small and comfortable. I was picking up a door dash order. The girls that work there on the weekends are super nice and fast service. Can't wait to try the coffee.
Nice coffee shop, great customer service.
Good food and a nice place to sit with your computer if you need to work
If you want specialty coffee and interesting flavors and a great atmosphere, definitely check this out. Onyx coffee! Out of Arkansas? I haven't heard of another shop in town using that, and it was every bit as amazing as I remembered. I appreciate that they have an espresso blend for those who want the more chocolatey traditional notes, and a single origin (Ethiopian today) for those who want something to pop. I guess I'm falling into the cliche that the other Ben below mentioned, although I can't tell what he's actually trying to say, but they do oat milk expertly well. If you're a fan, you know they're not all created equal. This is on my fave block in Sellwood.
Cappuccino was a bit more of a cortado size, and I'm really happy it was. The fruity notes popped super hard. Best capp I've had in a while!
The barista was a great communicator, super approachable, and made us feel welcome. Thank you for curating the space with great flowers and lots of beauty. Can't wait to come back.
Kind service, delicious coffee, great space.
They as re only offering outdoor seating currently. But a good amount of spaces outside.
Oh the cinnamon toast brought be back to my childhood 😊
So much natural light! Also the coffee was amazing! Had a Ethiopian Cappuccino. They know their coffee well.
The atmosphere is bright, filled with plants and a lot of wood. Very cool vibes. Coffee was good. The barista for me could have been a little nicer.
My new favorite breakfast. One of their silky smooth lattes and the Emory’s avocado toast that looks like a fairytale. I drive from West Linn just for it.
Great, friendly service with fast WiFi and seating inside. This felt roomy - not cramped between tables.
Ordered a toast with ricotta, almonds, and a berry compote for $5.95 and I was pleasantly surprised with the amount of bread and toppings that came with it. I was nervous it would not be enough to warrant $6 but it was a thick slice with plenty of toppings.
They didn’t have a chai tea non-latte, only premade with milk. Other than that, I loved it!
I had a great experience here, although I spent way too much money on a bag of beans - staff accommodated my sticker shock with a discount.
Always great espresso, friendly staff, pretty cafe. We always stop by when we're in the neighborhood.
A nice spot with great music that leads to a chill and relaxing atmosphere. Do your homework or deep readings here. I purchased the lavendar decaf latte (I am allergic to caffeine! 😫) and it was creamy and chill. It isn't the most amazing coffee I have had but it is quite close. Also the staff are very welcoming and if you become a regular it seems they become your friends. How cool is that to see such wonderful human interaction. Did I meant ion they have wifi? Oh yeah come here to do homework!
