Lovely little place with friendly and effective staff. Dangerously good chocolate--truly incredible actually, worth the price for sure! My favorite so far is the smoked cherrywood salted caramel truffle... Just about spiritually ascended eating one.

The staff was super friendly and let me sample whatever flavors I wanted to try! I went with the peppermint and the vanilla salted caramel and they were so amazing. I love that they’re vegan, and they tasted incredible. I will definitely be going back to try some more flavors!
The insides of these truffles are soft and ganache-y and kinda perfect. I'm so glad I finally stopped in. The employee who helped me was super kind and enthusiastic; she encouraged me to taste everything I picked out and then some! Great selection and everything is vegan, gluten free, and nut free.

It is difficult to sum up the experience of missionary chocolates and express that experience in words. Is the place small, yes. Is it a high-end chocolate establishment? No. Is it super cheap, I don't think so. What keeps me coming back can be summed up in three ways. First and foremost... my wife.

I love this place. Their chocolates are delicious and unique and their team is very friendly, helpful, and generous with samples. We stopped by on our anniversary and met the owner. She was so nice and gave us even more samples. So good!!!!
My favorite chocolate place for about 10 years now. Every time I visit my family in Portland, going here is a must. I just love the unique flavors of chocolate. They are especially amazing for people who can't have gluten or dairy. And the staff is always the best!
I have been a customer for years. The quality is consistently extraordinary, and their variety of both classic and new flavors is fantastic! I bought five boxes for gifts, plus the fantastic chocolate-covered potato chips and the pretzel bark.

Met Melissa today at the Portland Produce Market and was introduced to Missionary Chocolates! Everything was absolutely delicious and gluten free! Melissa was an absolute joy to meet and we will now be forever customers all the way from Florida!!
Great customer service! Missionary isn’t stingy on samples, and they so kind and willing to tell you about each truffle. Love that they also sell CBD chocolate as an option!
Not only are their chocolates to die for, they were also incredibly kind, talkative, and I nearly got sick from all of the free samples of chocolate they insisted on us trying!

Friendly people - Best place for vegan chocolate. They don't do fillings, but instead flavor their chocolate very nicely. Their dipped items are great too- I especially like the chocolate covered sandwich cookies!!
