The staff here is friendly. They have great sandwiches. (Melted Morrison is grown-up grilled cheese.) Soups are good. Decent bar selection. This is a nice cozy hole in the wall place. One caveat is the service can be a bit slow during the lunch hour.

Stopped in for lunch. Cool little spot! Nice vibe inside, very quiet. This is the mainstreet turkey sandwich and mushroom dill soup. ERMAGHERD! Soooooooo good. Stop in for a bite!

What really makes this small restaurant stand out from other local spots is the staff. The staff is superb in service. They are incredibly kind and do treat the customer as a friend. The food is quite delicious as well. It has a sense of traditional ingredients, but there are some twists that make the food different. There is an identity of the restaurant that finds itself in the food. This is what makes the food enjoyable and refreshing. Side note: the lemonade is just mouth-watering.

Had the BLT with the baked potato salad. While reading the menu, I gawked at the prices and the choices where outside of my box. However, the service was fast and when the order came to the table I was astonished! The sandwich was huge and the side was warm and cheesy. It was a very filling meal. Well worth the price! The coffee bar is stocked with lots of self-serve condiments. Great music and the artwork is fabulous. Well worth the street parking cost.

Incredible choices all prepared to perfection!! I love that everything is fresh and attention to detail is as important to them as it was to me. Great Ruben that was stacked with meat and every flavor mingled perfectly! Just wish they had more dessert options because if they can get their munchies and sandwiches so SPOT ON, I bet they could also create INCREDIBLE desserts!!

Great daily specials. Mostly a sandwich shop (hot & cold) with creative combinations of ingredients. Chips n Pickle instead of fries on the side. They have an OK breakfast offering if you are hungry for bagels or fruit. Self serve coffee (Mt Hood Roasters) with two free refills. Terrific ambiance aligns with gritty inner SE neighborhood. Hard A and good rotating taps available too. Worth checking out at least once.

Spotted this place from across the road while filling gas in our car. It was brunch time on a Saturday before Easter and the weather was very pleasant. Hungry, we saw this place and just walked in. The hostess was very polite and asked us to seat ourselves wherever we liked. We sat outside on the comfortable benches in sun. They have self serve drip coffee and you get to pick your own mug :D (cheap thrills!). We ordered a breakfast burrito and portobello sandwich, enjoyed the sun and the coffee. It was a great start to the day !
