I eat soooo much Thai food! And this place was amazing! The staff were so friendly and considerate. I was kinda sad that we ate all the food. I need more haha. Highly recommend.
We stopped in as soon as they opened. The food was amazing! The prices were just as wonderful. Portion sizes were more than I expected. 10/10 will go back.
We stopped in for lunch at noon on a Thursday. Hubby had the pork pineapple fried rice, and I almost ordered the tom yum soup but couldn't get past the chicken pad thai. Both dishes were delicious. The pad thai noodles were perfect, just slightly chewy. Perfect. The fried rice included the usual veggies plus small raisins (!!!) and was a beautiful golden colour. Both the pork and the chicken were flavourful and moist. So glad we stopped here, and next time I'll have the tom yum soup.
Amazing service and food! There are a good number of Thai places around town, and Modern Thai really delivered on flavor and authenticity. The woman who served us was so kind, I wanted to take her home to be my mom
This place is absolutely amazing! Their yellow and massaman curry is by far superior to any other I’ve ever had. We love coming here for date nights! The staff are always soooo friendly and awesome as well! :) Don’t forget to order the pot stickers ;)
There are about 5 similarly priced Thai restaurants with comparable menus within walking distance of each other around Division/Hawthorne. Modern Thai is consistently the fastest, easily the cheapest, has the best service (with the sweetest people working the front), and freshest food. My go-to casual dinner option in the neighborhood.
Such a fantastic thai restaurant! Family owned and so so friendly. Always so accommodating and fast with getting the food out. Their dishes are full of flavor that I get sad when I’m about to finish it all LOL — definitely give this place a try! i highly recommend the drunken noodles and red curry, especially with the weather getting colder! So cozy.
Delicious, solid Thai classics! Prices are good, especially for the portion sizes. The chicken larb was a standout, even winning over my boyfriend who isn't normally a fan.
Absolutely delicious and the staff are so sweet! Felt like I was back visiting in Thailand. Thanks for the amazing food! (The Tom Kha and Khao Soi are so good!)
