Rice & Spice Teriyaki - Portland - Photo album

every time i come here, they severely undercharge me for the quality and amount of food they serve me!! $17.50 for a jumbo tofu veggie teppanyaki and 4 spring rolls (see photo). i’m always craving the jumbo tofu teppanyaki and veggie rolls, and the prices are so good for the amount of food you get.
Great place for a teriyaki fix . Ive been coming here for 15 years at least once every few months. Don't let the Ambience fool you this place is tip top great food every time!! And tip those guys making your food they are solid guys and deserve it, they work hard..
Food is decently priced and not bad! It's right across the street from the guest house, so that's why I gave them a try, yum!
First time trying Rice and Spice, it was pretty good. The teriyaki chicken was tender and flavorful. Also had a veggie roll that was ok. There was a steady stream of folks in and out picking up and placing a lot of to go orders. Some of them regulars as the owner knew some of their names. Popular pl
I agree with the consensus that they make the best teriyaki chicken in town and the portions/value are truly amazing in today's world. The downside is that they changed my favorite dish. I always (for years) order chicken and vegies with extra vegies which used to mean lots of broccoli, and a few ca
This place was busy for lunch and I would say that's because it has the perfect combination of price and quality. Meaning that it's good quality food at a super affordable price. Honestly where can you get a decent meal for two anymore for under 25 bucks?
Quick service (just after lunch time). Freshly made. Tasted great. Teriyaki chicken with a veggie roll. Rice was sticky but not too much. Veggies were plentiful and again the chicken itself was yummy. Nice thick teriyaki sauce to boot.
I’m sold food was very good and good service. Definitely will be back!
You would think you would walk in here and it’s ran by Asians, but it’s actually all Spanish/Hispanic people 😂 but joking aside, if you just want some legit Teriyaki chicken at a good price like I did, this is your place. Probably one of the better Teriyaki chicken places in Portland ! Most importa
This is THE SPOT if you want delicious, filling food with a good portion at a good price. The chicken katsu is sooooooo good! I keep coming back because of that, but the service is also quick, super friendly, and in general just top notch. I absolutely love this place, I always feel full and happy a
Been coming here for years. Hector and gang are awesome and run an amazing establishment. The Spicy Chicken Special is one of my favorite takeouts of all time and I’ve eaten it at least 100 times. It’s one of my top 5 quick restaurants in portland. Highly highly recommend.
This is the spot for affordable, delicious teriyaki. Hard to come by these days. We got the chicken today and we're back for the beef.
Portland hasn’t had a good teriyaki spot in the last 2-3 years, this one is absolutely amazing! It might not the most appealing to the eye but the food is an absolute 10 out of 10.
I drive from Washington to eat here Everytime I want teriyaki chicken etc, never dry chicken and always 10/10. best service and good price
Great price: $8.50 for a great portioned chicken teriyaki box Kind staff
I hesitate leaving a good review here because I want to keep this place a secret. It’s a hidden gem.
delicious quick teriyaki joint. good sized portion for $12 too.
One of my favorite teriyaki’s I’ve ever ate at. I was skeptical but once I tried it I realized that it’s unlike any other teriyaki places. The katsu has the perfect crisp, the sauce was delicious, and the chicken was not dry. I love the portion and next time I will try their yakisoba.
