Tienda Y Panaderia Santa Cruz - Portland - Photo album

This place is amazing! The menudo is fantastic, and so is the barbacoa. Pretty sure you can't go wrong with anything in the place because everything we had was really top quality. It's like you walked through the front door of the tienda, and by the time you get to the restaurant portion in the back
I just moved to Portland from San Diego and I was looking for a Mexican market in Portland to buy items for my Día de Los Muertos altar. I got some spices and Mexican made clay mugs, chocolate Ibarra and pan dulce. They also had sugar skulls and other festive items. I was pleasantly surprised that t
This is the best Mexican food I’ve ever eaten!!!! Don’t go anywhere else but here. You won’t be disappointed ❤️
Tienda Santa Cruz (located in the back of a market ) is a North Portland classic, and their green, Avocado salsa is legendary. I've been coming here for years, and do enjoy the food. Some of my favorites include the taquitos, and seafood burrito. You order at the counter and the food is brought ou
Hands down one of my favorite places to get some great Mexican food. The street tacos are amazing, along with their burritos. The little grocery store at the front is a really good place to pick up some good ingredients for cooking at home. I would highly recommend this place.
I eat here every Tuesday. I'll shop the butcher shop out front for their meat selection. This place is fantastic. It should have one of those signs out front designating it as a cultural institution.
BEST TAQUERIA IN PORTLAND! Hands down the best tacos and burritos in the city. Well worth the trek to St. John’s. Perfectly cooked meats and deliciously grilled tortillas. Plus stuffed but balanced burritos. Don’t miss the salsa bar, especially if you like it HOT. Yum! 😋
One of the, if not the best, burrito places around. Large portion, great flavor and a friendly staff. Their homemade red sauce and guacamole are worth the visit alone. Order the Supreme carne asada, you won't be disappointed. On a side note, their adjoining store is a fun stop as well. Their Tres Le
This has always been one of my favorite spots to get some tacos at an affordable price. Throughout tree years, they have increased their prices, but are still among the most affordable ones in town. The flavor and quality of the tacos here are just amazing. This visit, I only opted for three tacos
Authentic, affordable, delicious Mexican food. Located in the back of a grocery store, serving up some real Mexican food that isn't overpriced. Quite busy during lunch so order ahead, make sure you get the avocado green sauce for any and everything. Delicious.
Great tacos at a good price. Atmosphere is a bit stale but go for the food. It's been getting busier lately so food could take 10 minutes to get. Still worth it to me.
This place is wonderful! My family members and I visit it regularly to buy pastries, hot sauce, and drinks in the store, or to stop by its restaurant and get tacos / burritos. I am vegetarian and love their veggie tacos. Overall, good portions at an affordable price for tasty food.
The food is great and authentic although it does take a bit to get your food if you order there so I suggest ordering before hand if you already know what you want to order. Overall it what you would expect when you want great tasting authentic Mexican food
You've probably been to cleaner restaurants in Portland - and definitely more visual appealing restaurants. But where can you stumble through a grocery store into a wonderland of spicy Mexican food? This food is a journey not just because of the Narnian entrance to this magical restaurant, but bec
