Definitely the best Thai of all of the food carts (on 5th & Harvey and 3rd & Washington). It is also my favorite of this set of carts. Consistency good food, lot of flavor and they make it appropriately spicy. It's not too oily either, which I think some of the others have trouble with (along with being hit or miss on flavor). Also a pretty good portion size at reasonable cost and a large menu. (I'm vegetarian and eat very spicy food).

Easily the best Thai in Portland that I have found. I find myself driving the 40 minute round trip to downtown as all the local places around me pale in comparison. If you ask for spicy, that's what you get. Thai food is supposed to be spicy, unlike the many americanized restaurants bullied by reviewers sensitive to what is an inherent and essential flavor to their cuisine.

Excellent thai food across the board. Their noodle dishes are well-balanced and their curry dishes are full of flavor. Their peanut sauce is incredible as well. I love to get their fresh salad rolls and peanut sauce as a mid-day snack.

Probably the best Thai cart on the block, though to be fair I've only had two of their dishes. The pad prik king is spot on what I remember my Thai mom cooking -- spicy, excellent balance of flavors, and fresh chopped kaffir lime leaves. I get this one a lot and they are always consistent. The pad kee mao is definitely better than other carts I've visited -- their noodles aren't overcooked and separate easily, there is a slight charring that indicates that they're cooking it at the correct temperature, and the vegetables are nicely cooked on the outside and still crunchy on the inside. Not the cheapest cart, but their food is definitely worth the extra dollar. I'll be sad to see them go when the 5th street carts close down.

The Massaman Curry is excellent. I definitely advise you to choose medium spice if you like hot spice. The medium was pleasantly spicy enough for me, and I usually go all the way to hot (muy caliente!). Kind service & overall a great food truck.

I love Veli Thai's Pad Thai sauce. It is the best sauce in town, noodles are perfect consistency. I love the spice/heat.

This is a food cart. Serves excellent food. The food carts in Portland are rated some of the very best in the nation. This one is no exception. All of the food carts between Oak and start on 5th Avenue or top notch. All prices or very reasonable.
