It’s a simple restaurant for a quick and nice meal. Everything seems normal and exactly like they are like in China. Veggie is a huge plate and it’s just a side and cost only $7. Beef brisket is tender and flavorful. Fried dough is what you can get in China. Endless toppings for noodle and you can m
We’ve been coming here for 13 years and the food is consistently good. Everything is authentic, cooked to perfection and service is always quick and friendly. The noodles are never over cooked and the donuts are always served hot. We absolutely love this place!
I come here every now and then and I love the food as always. My only problem/concern was the hair that I found in my noodles and my mother found an ant in here congee. Apart from that, our server was super kind and very quick with our food.
"Hole in Wall" authentic chinese eatery on SE Powell. The food is good though Atmosphere is sparse.
Its a efficient operation where diners are not paying for fancy value added antiques or ceiling bling.
Menu expanded beyond noodles, congee, and rice plates. The eatery serves servings of steamed
The restaurant is small with cozy seating. Employees are friendly and efficient. Prices are probably the best compared to other similar restaurants but the portions are also comparatively small. Their noodle soup is pretty good.
They had plenty of options on their menu. I grabbed the pork and shrimp wonton noodle soup and the Chinese donuts were delicious as well.
Fabulous noodle dishes. Always stop here for lunch whenever we visit Portland.
I was in heading to Bend for wine tastings and purchasing, and stopped by Kenny for lunch, food was pretty average to good, servers were friendly, decent restaurant but would go elsewhere for wonton next time
They have a variety of congee to choose from, there's something to suit every taste here. The menu offers a great mix of classic and modern dishes, all made with the freshest ingredients.
Overall, I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a great meal in Coogee.
The service was fast. I didn’t have to wait long for my food to come. I ordered a mixed meat porridge. Portion was small but enough for one meal. It tasted good, but ran out of pork kidneys that day. They have a lot of variety of noodles and porridge. I will definitely go back again to try their noo
My husband and I had a wonderful experience here. We were offered tea right away. The food came out hot/quickly and service was great. We tried the congee, Chinese donuts, brisket wonton noodle soup, and the fishball noodle soup. They were all a reasonable price and we would order them all again. T
Was so happy when I found this gem. This is as good of Cantonese food as you can get in Portland! Even my mom who is very picky about her wonton noodles loves this place and always wants to go when we visit Portland. Their congee, shrimp egg noodles, and side dishes are our favorites.
We drove from San Francisco area to have food at this restaurant. Compared to the good stuff bay area can offer, this is worth the 10+ hour drive.
It opens at 9:30 and it is already packed at 10:30 on a Tuesday..... I am glad we were there early.
Very authentic Cantonese/ Hong Kong style noodle soup place. Personal favorites are wonton noodles, Sui kau (dumplings), braised beef noodles, and pork liver and cod congee.
It’s delicious, there have a lot of kind noodle and congee is good you. I got sui kao and squid ball noodles. A minus point is location hidden because of tree
