An abundance of delicious bagels and sandwiches greeted me on entry. I want to sample each one of them after having the delicious cinnamon raisin bagel. Nice space with power outlets so you can get some work done while having coffee.
Great bagels and bagel sandwiches. Kind staff. Good rewards program. Lots of seating inside and outdoor tables as well. Really good coffee. Sometimes a bagel store only does one thing really well (the bagels), but this place does it all! We recommend the Bacon Jam sandwich on a salt and herb bagel. Also, the bacon egg and cheese was great with arugula and tomato. Tried the lox bagel "Uncle Sal" and the whitefish sandwich "Larry David" - all were great but the Bacon Jam is my favorite.
So I am originally from New Jersey so I have been looking for good bagels and pizza here on the West Coast in Portland. And I believe I found Great Bagels. I had the Egg and Cheese breakfast sandwich on a Salt and Herb bagel, and I had the Lox and Schmear on an Everything bagel. By the time I even thought to write a review, due to enjoying it so much, my first sandwich was gone and I was halfway into my second. So there are no pictures unfortunately, but they looked as delicious as they tasted.
Spielman Bagels and Coffee Roasters is a definite place to stop in and grab a drink. The staff is friendly and welcoming.
And whether you choose to sit inside or outside, there is plenty of space to spread out.
I ordered an iced coffee with a pump of vanilla and oat milk. It was smooth, rich, and flavorful. If I were hungry, I would have ordered a bagel. They looked delicious.

Delicious, made to order breakfast bagels! I got the bacon and jam bagel and added an egg that was just *chefs kiss* The iced mocha was also very yummy. Took my breakfast to go since I'm on the run to the airport but wish I could have stayed to enjoy the charming atmosphere inside! Very open, rustic and charming. Service was quick and friendly, would definitely come here again.
Went 3 times for a variety of coffee, lox and bagels over 2 days.
Salt & herb bagel with mango habanero cream cheese, jalapeno bagel with roasted veggies cream cheese, sesame bagel with chives cream cheese, multi grain everything bagel with vegan egg and cheddar cheese, side of vegan bacon and sausage. All bagels and cream cheese surprised me but the mango habanero was my favorite. ππππ

The rating is for this one order... I got an uncle Sal which shld have lox but when I got home it was a regular cream cheese and onion bagel. I was charged $11 so I'm pretty sure I ordered the right sandwich.
I tried calling them but no one ever answers and their mailbox is full. So I reached out online. Obviously I'm not coming back to get it fixed but that's a pretty big thing to miss in a Lox sandwich... It's the star of the show.
Got the blueberry bagel with the blueberry shmear and I got a Breakfast tea with a splash of oat milk. Bagel was exactly what I wanted: delicious, blueberry flavor punch! And the tea, Smith Tea brand, was great, but that's not made by staff. My brother got the lox bagel and he loved it - ate the whole thing and a drip coffee that was good as well.
They were playing Tame Impala and Thundercat on the speakers, so the vibes were immaculate! Also, the staff wasn't doing all that hype-y coffee barista stuff, which I appreciate. Just wanted a chill morning breakie and I got it!

This is an excellent and reasonably priced bagel shop. They got you covered on all the bagel necessities. Flavored cream cheese, bagel sandwiches, wide variety of bagels and great take away cream cheeses and bagels. I made my own kinda bagel breakfast sandwich with the help of the lovely lady behind the counter. She recommended the onion bagel and chive cream cheese. Upon her request I got the onion bagel, chive cream cheese, melted cheddah, and egg. Bomb diggity. It was amazing. Loved the bagel. It had onion baked in it rather than layered on the top. Genius. All the bagel options looked really good. Like really good. Had to go with the recommendation. Did not disappoint. I also gotta say the customer service here is ON POINT. helpful staff both my the lady and dude. They went out of their way to make me feel comfortable and accommodated. Thanks!
Fresh, flavorful bagel sandwiches with great coffee. The service is always friendly and the hash browns are a nice cherry on top
When I saw that Spielman had moved into the spot where Einstein's once was, I was both elated to see a local bagel spot, and nervous as to the fate of my bottomless in-house coffee. Have no fear! Bottomless coffee is here and definitely better than the last. The bagels/bagel sandwiches are quite good as well, and there is plenty of seating for your study session or family bagel outing.
The hot mocha with oat milk was a top 5 coffee beverage of my lifetime. Incredible. 10/10
These people have amazing attitudes and phenomenal food. Forgot to catch this persons name but go down and see these folks for an awesome breakfast or lunch bagel π«‘π«‘π―π―
Some amazingly fresh bagels and good coffee. I ordered the chicken spread on and onion bagel with lox and it was better than what I get at other places. A bit of a wait but what that's to be expected around brunch time. Didn't mind the wait, and service was friendly however the price was the only issue I could find with the place.
