I've only had one meal at this location, but it's exactly what I expected. The delicious people's pig. The atmosphere is a bit different, but not completely lost. More diner style than a dark shack. Overall, fantastic.

I had the spicy chicken sandwich this time. That sandwich is one of the best I have ever had. Slightly spicy jalapeño mayonnaise, a giant slab of fried, breaded chicken, and slaw. The brisket is also very good. My one complaint is that the service is a bit lackluster. The restaurant itself is excellent in terms of it being an old bbq joint from way back. I highly recommend.

A wholly holy experience! My friend and I shared the Porcetta plate, ordered with Potato Salad and Coleslaw, and the Pork Shoulder plate, ordered with Collards (shown) and Corn Bread. We also had a Sweet Tea and Bourbon (shown) and the Mule. All the food was amazing. Atmosphere was nostalgic feeling. Service was great considering it was Memorial Day and there was only one cook and one waitress/bartender/busser. As they were getting "in the weeds" we left. Good thing. Am going back for 4th of July vittles.

WOW! The best BBQ I’ve had so far in Portland! This is my second time at The People’s Pig but first time at this location. This one is larger and has a parking lot. Both times the food has impressed! Surprisingly enough the brisket was my favorite cut of meat! Absolutely freaking amazing! Idk what else to say! The MEATS! Even their sliced pickles are meaty! Smoked then fried chicken! What! Sooooo good! Wish I could go every day!

Great little BBQ cafe. Small, but when the weather permits, they have out door seating. Excellent brisket, terrific friend chicken, tender ribs. Their collard greens and corn bread are amazing, and their BBQ sauce is as unusual it is flavorful. They mix a pretty good drink as well. Not cheap, but worth the cost.

Excellent. Stuck between 5 and 4.5 stars... Hands down the best friend chicken I've had in many years, great seasoning. Half of my brisket slices were dry - end of the day - but the moist pieces were succulent. All of the sides are amazing, but I think cumin overpowers the BBQ sauce. The service and drink selection was really on point.
