Bare Bones Cafe & Bar - Portland - Photo album

Wonderful spot. Great for coffee, brunch/ breakfast, affordable menu, good music. All around wonderful experience. Can't wait to come back at night and check out the bar.
This place was good except for the wait time was a little longer than most places. It seemed they were short handed. But overall the place is a nice little spot with some good food... The lady that helped us was very friendly and helpful... Minus one star for the wait time
I originally thought this was a super meat heavy place, but they do have a good few options for vegetarian meals, they also accommodated a vegan in our group. Food was good, mimosas were large, id have to say Bare Bones is a pretty good place. Great for groups. Also theres ample bike parking and out
My favorite brunch spot! It's generally pretty quiet, which I appreciate. The staff is wonderful every time I'm here. The food is simple and always great quality. It's kind of a no-nonsense place, hence the name, but they're not rude about it or anything. They have board games if you want to stay a
Super cool little spot. The bartender was super nice and though there isn't a big selection for food, it was really good.
An exceptional little cafe & bar. The cook and bartender are excellent. The atmosphere is "dive bar" is intentional and I can only guess beloved by the regulars. I would be a regular too if I was closer. The grill work is a exceptional, a masterful show of temperature. Creating the perfect cheese m
This place has so beautiful energy, great food and nice music. Thank you!
love the outdoor patio here! great dive to have a first date or to meet up with friends.
Chicken nachos perfect can't wait to try breakfast. Brunch served all day. Mimosas and other great drinks served here too.
Restaurant/bar (bar opens at 2). Quality food. Fair prices. Lotto. Sidewalk sitting but best of all, bar seating (in the restaurant atleast, which you can order drinks at). Super friendly staff.
Such a great price for such great food! Also had really great service. Wasn't super busy and felt very comfortable sitting outside and eating. I will definitely be going back!
My go to. It's a great place to eat. Use the WiFi. It's not the cheapest place to eat but you can't go wrong with any of the food here. My favorites are the roasted turkey sandwich with German potato salad as the side. Other favorites are bbq pork sandwich, grilled cheese with tomato soup and b
When I came back to Portland a year ago, I was glad to find this place still exists. I don't live close anymore, but I still manage to visit now & then. Both the cafe & bar are great. The bar can get wildly busy, creating long wait times.
Great neighborhood bar with solid food
Amazing cafe, fair prices on everything and the food is top notch. Had a hungarian mushroom soup that was savory and very well seasoned but not heavy at all. Hit the spot!
My wife and kids stopped by here to have a quick lunch in between soccer games this past Sunday. I have to say that the food was fantastic. My wife had the breakfast burger that had this awesome rosemary gravy over the top that was perfect. I had the pastrami ruben and my waitress suggested the Ger
The Bare Bones Cafe side is a great place to grab a coffee and chill with your laptop. And then if you are ready for a beer or cider, you can head over to the Bar side. Stomach rumbling? A small but tasty menu of treats will fill your stomach, and at a fraction of those McMonalds ripoff joints aroun
I'm not vegan by any means, but the grilled cheeses here would make the idea palatable even to me. Whether you're looking for a dark bar to keep working on your novel in, or meeting someone for what will inevitably be an awkward first date (leading to an even worst second one) - I can promise the dr
