Cozy bar with couches and big comfy seats throughout. Friendly service. Pool table, ping pong and a few pin ball machines round out the atmosphere.

Gem of a place. Super sweet employees, food was excellent (would give 4.5 if we could), cool vibe. We stopped here on a whim and were not disappointed. Hope you have as much fun as we did!

The inside of this place has a funny old smell.. That's the first thing I noticed. However, the lady working was very friendly, and the food that I ordered was good. I bought 3 chicken wing baskets, which came with fried chicken and fries. Both had a slight lime taste to them and also reminded me of sourdough bread.. I've never tasted chicken and fries like this, they are different. I thought the food was really good. Chicken skin had a real nice crisp to it.

I finally enjoyed my Mother's Day meal in the most unlikely of places but it was really good. We got two cheeseburgers cooked perfectly to temp and a big delicious salad that was def big enough for two. The cook obviously cares about the food she serves. Thank you!

Nice little place with a real speakesy type of vibe. Main room has INCREDIBLE booths; was told it was once a "gentleman's club" Outdoor area in back was covered & cozy. We sat around a propane fire pit with a group of people. Just the right amount of heat for a cool Northwestern spring day.

This place is an absolute hidden gem and our favorite bar in the city. The bartenders are always so friendly and laid back, and Sandberg serves the best bar food I've ever hand, hands down. Her attention to detail is amazing. I highly recommend the meatloaf sandwich and her fries. It's so good that the only place I wanted to hold my 30th birthday party was at this bar. Do yourself a favor and try Marie's!!

Sandberg Foodwares is the gem of Portland. Serving up gourmet style comfort classics: fries (w/ bloody mary katsup), deep fried brussel sprouts, white cheddar mac, and that beef! That tasty high quality burger is goin into the meatloaf & all the sandwiches. Forget Arby's. It's Sandberg. "She has the meats!"

Hidden gem, but don't come if you're mean/annoying, plz Came here with my partner and a close friend who recommended it, and it's a dive bar, but holy hell, the food, the people and atmosphere. If you are looking for something cluby with lights, this isn't it. If you are looking for a place that only calm and fun people go to play table tennis like it's there last night on earth or 8-Ball like the fate of their first born child depends on a best 2 out of 3, this is your place. I was not expecting the food to be anything special for the price and atmosphere (this is my first time here) but WOW. There was no part of the menu that I tasted that wasn't unique and uniquely well executed. We ordered a patty melt, large side of fries and the Mac N Cheese, and they were otherworldly. If you want a swanky place to take your trust fund lady-friend, this probably isn't it, but if you want somewhere you can let your guard down, eat well, and live free from BS, this is your spot. I wish I'd been coming here for years
