Best chai EVER! And, don't get me started on the incredible bacon/cheddar/chive scone. OMG! The owner and staff are so friendly. This may be a little out of the way for me, but it is my new favorite coffee shop! LOVE!

I love Either/Or. The chai is the best I've ever had, and the service is friendly and considerate. Their food is filled with love that you can taste, and there is such intentionality behind everything they do, and I can taste that difference! Either/Or created partnerships with local roasters and showcase their coffee, which is great. My favorite things (beyond the coffee soda -- which is AMAZING -- and the chai), are the soft and chewy homemade ginger-orange blossom cream cookies. They are dreamy! They're a surprising combination of flavors that melts in your mouth and awakens you at once! Either/Or is my idea of a successful business. It's a small storefront with a lot of heart, intentionality, and really delicious offerings! The owners started out simple and then gradually added their favorite things, each with precision and love. Each cookie, each coffee, each offering is something they clearly love and offer to all of us. Who wouldn't love love?

This week was my first time at this amazing place. I have already been back a second time. The quality of coffee and service far exceeded my expectations. I will definitely return again and refer others.

Amazing coffee. Healthy, tasty, beautifully presented food. Friendly and helpful staff. Great music and a calm, arty space. What more could you want from a cafe?

First visit yesterday. Atmosphere is charming. Expensive, but excellent coffee and chai tastes on the Tanglewood Fiight, especially the seasonal yam 🍠 yum! – perfect for a special occasion in a cold day.

The Handmade Grapefruit Honey soda is not just amazing I have no words to describe it. If you want a cold drink with a kick to warm up your belly.I definitely recommend this handmade soda. There are other unique and taste bud k.o's I'd love to try♡ The environment is extremely friendly and relaxing, everything about this shop is Fantastic.

World's greatest coffee house. Best baristas, best decor, best coffee. They just get everything right. Want to see what the next big trend in coffee is gonna be? Come by the shop and see what they're doing and then wait 6 months to a year and watch it catch on everywhere. This is the standard for me by which other shops are appraised.

I love their coffee; the best in Sellwood. They also carry excellent baked goods. This morning I tried their house made chai. Delicious! The space also feels good, warm yet simple. :-)

Loved the coffee from here and such a cute spit!! The decor was marvelous AND they had a dj playing music. The person that got my order was super friendly (a plus anywhere). Definitely on my list whenever I visit portland!

Really solid coffee and chill vibes from the DJ in the corner. Forced me to slow down my *rush rush* mentality and appreciate the cloudy Sunday morning. Already had breakfast plans or else we would have eaten here; the food smelled bomb!

Ate layer burrito ⭐⭐⭐✨ - loved the salsa verde - a little bland to me, I think it needs more salsa or flavors inside - wouldnt have been able to enjoy it without the salsa Breakfast burrito ⭐⭐⭐✨ - it wasn't amazing to me - it definitely needed the hot sauce to make it good ❤️Pork belly tacos ⭐⭐⭐⭐✨ - this was a favorite of mine so far - something is complementing the kimchi super well - the pork belly was super well smoked - I love the green sauce Love the feel of the place! Would come back for the other burritos!

Chill place to come for cocktails in the evening. We ended up here as we wanted to have a cocktail before heading back to the westside. The staff was pretty friendly and also quick to get our drinks and a snack out. The old fashioned was decent and prices were reasonable. It's nice that they have windows all open with great airflow.

As a huge fan of Elliott Smith, I had to stop by. Grabbed the Americano and enjoyed the ambiance. Friendly staff too

Been here twice so far on my trip and both breakfast meals were fantastic. Definitely get the Eggs-ray-specs if you can (sausage and cheese) the breakfast burrito was great as well. We went on Sunday and it had a live DJ with vinyl, got the coffee soda which was refreshing but fairly sweet. Staff was very friendly and at the time of writing this asked for masks and vaccine, which was fine with us.

We had the maple bolos, tacos, a latte + coffee flip mocktail. Great prices. Portions were too big so we ended up with some food waste but we will be back!

it's hard to have a portland coffee shop that stands out these days. it's either some kind of special gimmick drink or a trendy instagrammable tourist trap. EITHER/OR keeps things simple in a way that's refreshing to me, and seems to be doing all of it well! the baristas were very friendly and easy to chat with if you wanted to take a seat at their FULL BAR! such a great spot to meet up that isn't ridiculously busy and seems to be on the relatively easy end of snagging a spot to get stuff done. i had a vanilla latte that was, respectfully, yummy delicious. the vanilla and caramel sauces were made in-house, and i believe their lavender as well but don't quote me on that. highly recommend this shop as a place to unwind hanging out in trendy portland, a fun spot for sure. TL;DR: essence of portland without being over the top

A perfect cafe/bar to chill and study during the day. Their food was delicious but just a bit salty. Overall, they had good vibes!

Love the big salty Russian mocktail. It’s very pricey for a coffee drink (and ask for light ice, because otherwise half of the drink is ice) but it has amazing flavor and it’s a fun treat for myself on the weekends.

Now that I realize it’s a coffee shop by day and a cocktail bar by night, the interior makes more sense. It is very bright in the front half of the space with a DJ table, but terribly dark in the back, where there seems to be a VIP booth; jarring to see in the daytime. The seating arrangement, dim lighting, and dark teal paint lends itself to the intimate setting of the evening. Feels like your grandma’s basement with the crystalware, vinyl coverings, midnight blue velour drapes, and chained chandeliers. I can see why it has appeal, especially the music selection. And I would concur with previous reviews of the chai!

Eggs Ray Spex is top tier. They also make my favorite take on a London Fog (pictured). Staff is rad and the vibe is nice. I personally don’t love the morning DJ thing that sometimes happens on the weekends but they have outdoor seating for folks who might enjoy a mellower breakfast.

Service was great. Location, cute and easy to park. The latte and eggs ray spex were both super tasty. I was blown away by that sandwich. Drooling for another one already. Who knew a breakfast sandwich could be so good? Wow. I need another eggs ray spex in my life Asap!

Can't recommend this place enough. The vibes are great, the staff is friendly, and best of all their food and drink is very tasty. I am a meat eater, but I get the veggie sausage there anytime I order a Maple Bolo because it's just so delicious, unreal flavor! Coffee sodas are also on point!

Cute spot, and one of the very few cafes in Portland that serves breakfast tacos!

The eggsray specs sandwich is tremendous! Excellent flavor, filling, extremely tasty fried egg and sausage patty, just perfect. I also tried the pork belly breakfast burrito which was totally fine but I thought was a little lacking in flavor. For something with pork belly, kimchi, pickled jalapeno, onion, and salsa verde, I mostly just tasted the rice and black beans. Not a huge deal though, I'll absolutely be back for the breakfast sandwiches.
