date night with possibly the best house-made chips i’ve ever had, plus a very fruity salsa (which i could have just eaten with a spoon, but had to share because it was date night) and that lead to three great tacos! carnitas was very moist and delicious as was the battered fish. don’t let the aesthetic fool you. maybe you’ll feel more like you’re at a taco truck this way. got drinks next door at the brewery & sat outside. so far the perfect portland summer evening.
So i dropped by for a quick bite, the street style tacos were ok. The place is fairly clean and easy to find. The place seemed to be undergoing renovation, and at the time it was also understaffed. Definitely coming back.
Excellent flavor, personable and quick service. I will definitely be back! Family friendly, secluded bar area nice open dining room overlooking the grill. Prices are cheap while they are getting their name out. Great local meet up for friends! 👏👍
Tofu taco and veggie burrito vegan vegitarian (plus meat options)
I just got the biggest burrito I have ever seen for 8 bucks. Literally two meals for the price of one. Food's quite decent. An interesting choice of classic rock for the ambiance. I'd come again.
A little sparse in staff and interior decor, I told myself to celebrate the authenticity when I stopped in for the first time today. Sad I hadnt come sooner, Ive been eating tacos in this town for over 20 years, the pollo street taco here, was the best Ive ever had. Ill be back tomorrow. :)
Tasty, quick, inexpensive taco shop. Staffed by straight shooting taco veterans. This is your only real South Portland taco option. Great old school beats to toss some perspective at the antsy 9 to 5ers.
