Akasaru Ramen - Portland - Photo album

Great service, staff were very friendly. The basil mango lemonade is bomb, and the ramen hit the spot. Will definitely come back here for more.
Nothings better on an Oregon cold rainy fall day than a supreme bowl of ramen. Akasaru is a quaint ramen shop in the Alberta Art District. My daughter and I had one bowl of Coconut Miso Ramen xtra spicy and a bowl of Veggie Ramen, and an order Gyoza. Everything was delicious! The potstickers were c
It was our first time eating here. The Aka ramen and calamari were amazing. My friends and I enjoyed out time there. We were there around 3:00 PM and the restaurant was not crowded at all. I wanted to try the tuna poke with rice but at that time they did not have the rice ready yet so I opted out fo
Sorry I don’t have the photo; I just dove right in. Fun shop. Upbeat with a youthful atmosphere. I chose the Akasaru Spivey pork belly ramen. Identifiable flavors of sweet, tart, smokey, and heat. Incredibly encouraging of a good day.
My first time. Gf noodles were terrible. They were a huge ball of soggy noodles. Edamame was mill-y texture. Way too salty. I'm sure the folx who work there are lovely. I wonder if the gluten ramen is better. If you are GF like me, I'd pass.
We dined here on a weekday evening. The interior was cozy and uncrowded which we enjoyed. We ordered the karaage chicken which was excellent. However we also ordered the shoyu and akasaru ramen. We were disappointed by the overcooked, rubbery pork belly, as well as the undercooked ramen noodles. The
I get the vegetarian ramen from them on GrubHub all the time. It's my go-to. Today, they couldn't fulfill the order due to unforseen circumstances with missing veggie broth, which is perfectly fine. I love them so much and miss their ramen so much, that I thought it was super important to give them
Great artwork inside. Great service. Food was alright. I am a big ramen fan and can be very picky. The broth needed more umami for me but not too bad. Agedashi tofu needs more work. The sauce was way too thick and salty. Staffs were friendly and very nice. Street parking only.
