This place deserves the hype. Delicious spicy miso with pork belly and veggies, and the wakane salad was on point! We'll be back.

Had the shoyu ramen and hubby had the spicy miso. Great toppings, pork belly is yummy ramen even had a couple of dumplings. Broth was delicious mild and not too salty which I've found several ramen restaurant's broth is too salty. I definitely pick this place over boxer ramen, their pork belly taste like ham and too salty.

The pork belly in the miso bowl is the best I've ever had... and the music selection was so mellow yet contemporary!

Delicious!!! We started off with the Gyoza and fried chicken appetizer! Then enjoyed spicy miso ramen! The broth was amazing!! We'll definitely be back!

Great service, staff were very friendly. The basil mango lemonade is bomb, and the ramen hit the spot. Will definitely come back here for more.

Nothings better on an Oregon cold rainy fall day than a supreme bowl of ramen. Akasaru is a quaint ramen shop in the Alberta Art District. My daughter and I had one bowl of Coconut Miso Ramen xtra spicy and a bowl of Veggie Ramen, and an order Gyoza. Everything was delicious! The potstickers were crunchy on the outside with subtle pork stuffing. The ramens were accompanied with a brilliant display and variety of fungi and veggies. The pork belly in the Coconut Miso was “to die for,” said my daughter. The service was warm and friendly. We will definitely be back.

It was our first time eating here. The Aka ramen and calamari were amazing. My friends and I enjoyed out time there. We were there around 3:00 PM and the restaurant was not crowded at all. I wanted to try the tuna poke with rice but at that time they did not have the rice ready yet so I opted out for the ramen instead. The owner was kind enough to provide the tuna poke for free and it was delicious! Thanks Akasaru for the amazing experience!

Sorry I don’t have the photo; I just dove right in. Fun shop. Upbeat with a youthful atmosphere. I chose the Akasaru Spivey pork belly ramen. Identifiable flavors of sweet, tart, smokey, and heat. Incredibly encouraging of a good day.

I get the vegetarian ramen from them on GrubHub all the time. It's my go-to. Today, they couldn't fulfill the order due to unforseen circumstances with missing veggie broth, which is perfectly fine. I love them so much and miss their ramen so much, that I thought it was super important to give them five stars. Tasty work, guys! Keep it up. I look forward to he next time you have your spicy veggie ramen available.

Great artwork inside. Great service. Food was alright. I am a big ramen fan and can be very picky. The broth needed more umami for me but not too bad. Agedashi tofu needs more work. The sauce was way too thick and salty. Staffs were friendly and very nice. Street parking only.
