Barakat Al-sham Food Cart - Portland - Photo album

The owner is super friendly - he found out that it was my first time there and gave me a free fruit sundae/salad! (It’s funny that the reviewer below wanted a fork for the salad because I wanted a spoon 😆) I ordered the dolmas salad (#18), which was good, refreshing, filling, and came out fast.
Stopped by on a Sunday and food took a very long time to prepare (~20 minutes) and was sub-par. Falafels on the sandwich were small, flat, flavorless, and grey on the inside. Chicken shwarma wrap was just chicken in a flour tortilla. Really disappointed.
I ordered the Falafel sandwich, It was only $5 and delicious. The owner was very friendly and said they will be expanding their menu in the coming weeks.
I had a good falafel sandwich at this place and they were friendly but I hope they read this review. Their menu board has only pictures, no names or description (you can kinda guess what many items are, but many are a mystery) .... and there are no prices posted!!!! I feel bad for them and can’t
This food cart is one of the best one's I have eaten at. The guy there was great and the food oh so delicious!
Friendly service. I got the kabob plate and it was beautiful and delicious. The meat was grilled and cooked perfectly. The best Mediterranean food I've had in a long time.
Went with a friend and the owner is very nice. The food was great. It was my first time having falafel and he uses fresh ingredients.
I had the kabob plate. The meat was cooked petfectly and i really enjoyed the sauces. It came with fries and a salad with nicely dressed tomatos. I would definitly eat there again. The service was great. He even let me charge my phone.
