Yesterday was our 1st time there!
Absolutely amazing, from the delicious pizza to the delight and everything in between.
An added bonus was the wine tasting...We'll be back!!!

I've always loved this place... But haven't visited in a while. It was so nice to be back! While I grew up in PA... This place brings back fond memories of the items my father loved. The prices were good and the selection was vast. In addition, the employees were kind and helpful! I'll be back soon!
I moved away from Portland in 1981 and moved to central Pennsylvania with my husband and infant son. I was remembering my life in Portland and dredged up the name of Micucci ‘s from my sometimes I dependable memory. I was so glad to see the store is still there and thriving. I often walked there from my Congress St apartment to shop. I loved the store because there were always wonderful surprises and the quality of food that I never seemed to find in the chain grocers. It sounds like I have a lot to catch up on if I can make my way back to Portland.
Hit the 2-for-1 pizza slice Monday this week. Talk about an explosion of flavors. Best deal in town!

A foodies' paradise in greater Portland. Family owned and operated with a selection of Italian cheeses, olives and ingredients to create or recreate authentic cuisine. There is also a large selection of Italian sweets, treats and fresh pasta. The wine selection is extensive and with a price point for every pocketbook.
Had great culture. Felt like we were in Italy. Ingenious floor plan. We liked the subtlety of the storefront. The cashier in the Tottenham jersey interrupted the vibe, but it did not spoil the rich flavor of the Italian soda. - The Putney Students

Great variety of Italian delicacies. Good selection of hard to find Sicilian wines. The fresh breads, cut cheeses, and meats are all very good. They offer a terrific Sicilian pizza in the rear to either eat in or take away. Worth a visit when in Portland.
Every town and city should have a market as wonderful as Micucci's. Low key Italian delights. I'm almost worried to post this because it might become too crowded. But it deserves all the business it gets. The Lunas from the bakery are sublime.
Always friendly and inviting, and everything top quality! I treated myself to one of Micucci's own cannolis. Heavenly!
Update: Wow you can now get your Sfogliatelle FROZEN to bake at home. They came out totally AMAZING!!! Just follow the directions and, as the pictures show, they look like THEY made it for you. There's a reason this store has been around for almost 100 years. Because they deliver the best of Italy from the moment you walk into the store and then again when you get home and devour your goodies:) these will be our new weekly family treat!!!!! End update
Simply the best Italian Grocery Store in Maine. Great staff, excellent selections and the Best Canoli's in New England (I know because I've tried them everywhere in my travels). They make pizza from scratch at 10:30 am. The other Italian Pastry (that I can't spell:) the one that's shaped like a sea shell is simply AMAZING:) I just can't Express how much we love this place. Also, they have off street parking on the side of the building. If you haven't been there give it a try, if you're a regular you know already;)
I can't say enough how much I love this place. Authentic grocery items for Italian cooking, deli with top quality meats and cheeses, and slab pizza cooked that is out of this world. The staff is always friendly, helpful, and offers suggestions when asked. A huge bonus is the parking (albeit limited) for the old port area its such a relief to know you can get it and out quickly because you don't have to spend time and money finding parking. Love this place!
