We had fries, duck sandwich, brisket sandwich and donuts with caramel sauce. It was all delicious, but the brisket sandwich and caramel sauce were the stars. Thanks to Andrew our server for the great recs!

Everything here was delicious!! Of course the frites were amazing. Thai chili mayo was great. The Paninis (BGT and Cuban) were also great, as were the donut holes (wow) and Wild Blueberry & Buttermilk milkshake! Save room for dessert! Would definitely recommend!
wish i could give it 10 stars!!!!.....i arrived 3/30 at about 11:20 and got the corner stool at the bar...exactly where i wanted to be....i ordered the poutine and a chocolate shake......the shake arrived first....soooooo sinful.....such a flavor of chocolate that was absolutely incredible.....then the poutine arrived....yummm....the hot fries and gravy melted the cheese curds to make a cheesy yummy taste.....i ate every bit and wish they would include maybe a small slice of bread to clean your plate with...couldnt waste a drop there......i got the donut holes for a take home snack....what a treat later on with a glass of cold milk...the only thing i can say with a smile is you better get there early because by the time i left it was jamming....as it should be....yummmm!!!

The fries are to die for. U have to wait but it is worth it. They have wonderful salads and the tomato soup is wonderful. The staff is on it and they work their butts off.
Incredible !! Worth the wait. Poutine was outstanding !!! Loved the Broccoli and Quinoa salad and to top it off the Duck confit Panini blew my mind. An absolute must in Portland people :)
That Poutine! 😍😍 We shared the overnight duck and meatloaf panini, and it was all fabulous. Couldn’t have asked for a better meal for our first night in Portland. Also, I highly recommend getting a caramel milkshake to go!
Service was great. The fries were amazing. I recommend having the blueberry buttermilk shake. It was unreal!
Loved this place! We had the poutine fries, and turkey panini. Food was excellent! We didn't mind the wait, it's a small place but great atmosphere. You should definitely go here if your in town!

Fries were amazing with the Thai chili Mayo for dipping. I also had the brisket sandwich which was good. I do wish that the fries and sandwich had come out together instead of treating the fries as an appetizer. Avoid sitting at the bar if you're short... there is no bar across the bottom to rest your feet on so you can get quite uncomfortable. Food was fantastic!
Hubby and I were restaurant hopping before our flight out of Portland. We went here mainly for the poutine. It was delicious, so I had to order extra fries. Their homemade cookies and cream shake was the best I've ever had. We also tried their grape soda and it was not bad. Staff were great and the place was very nice. Overall, a fantastic afternoon snack.
Overall, an excellent experience and would highly recommend. Fries were super crunchy and amazing, but slightly over salted. Ham/bread/golden raisin mustard special was awesome. Lemon thyme spritzer and orange dream beverages, also wonderful. The beet special was wonderful, however not as cider forward as we expected and a bit spicy. Not many kid friendly options for smaller plates (I know they are not necessarily going for that crowd, but my kids aren’t super picky and can usually find something anywhere.)
We really enjoyed Duckfat! It’s a smaller location and very popular so we waiting about 30 min to get in for lunch. They did a great job seating customers as quickly as possible. Our server was very friendly and gave us great recommendations. We ordered Belgian fries, house sodas, and paninis. The food was incredible! Can’t recommend this place enough if you’re in Portland.
Saw tons of blogs and sites recommending this place when I was researching Portland food spots and happy to say it was well worth the hype!!

I also liked the overall aesthetic and vibe of the restaurant and thought the staff was both friendly and helpful - as we had lots of questions and needed help with deciding what to order.
Great time here. The fries really are that good but the milkshake was the true start for me. It was absolutely delicious. Our waiter (unfortunately forgot his name but he was rocking a nice stache!) was insanely friendly and was just overall good vibes. This was my first time visiting and I’m sure to come back.
We were suggested this by a friend who tried it and raved. We are from out of state and ended up with the Cuban and turkey sandwiches with a large fry flight. Overall the food was pretty good, the atmosphere is much better. The Cuban was a bit bland as were some of the sauces (for $2.50 a flight) but overall was pretty decent.
Ridiculously good fries and fantastic Cuban sandwich. Maybe the best pork I've had on a Cuban. We've been to the Frites shack a few times before but this was the first time at the actual restaurant and it did not disappoint.
Loved it here. Great experience. It's a nice contrast from all the lobster spots that I couldn't get enough of. I sat outside. Great vibes. Delicious food & drinks. Highly recommend.
