Slab is the best pizza I've ever had, but it's not what many of us have come to think of as pizza. The dough is thick but pillow-y (not heavy at all), the toppings on their classic "Slab" are only their own delicious pizza sauce and some quality cheese. That simple combo creates some of the most addictive food out there. If you are a lover or bread, you will love Slab. When they do feature other toppings on specialty pizzas, my wife and I have found them to be the best quality as well.
Food, service and tap list is always on point! Our favorite lunch destination as a family and the patio is so perfect on a sunny Maine day.

We went this past Saturday night and sat at the bar. We had excellent service.
We had never been and had questions about the menu and how to order the pizza. The bartender was very friendly, helpful and the pizza and beer were so good. We will def be going can and try some of the other menue items.

I've been there a few times. Driving up from Southern NH. Was there last had a speciality pizza, Mac and Cheese and Pepperoni flatbread. It was great. Also have been up and had a full Slab shared and that is good as well. I recommend it to anyone that hasn't tried it, to give it a shot
Read about Slab in the Rachel Ray magazine and they did not disappoint. Had the half Slab and it was fantastic. Dough is light and airy and the sauce was delicious - fresh, chunky tomatoes. Service was polite and helpful. Highly recommend.
Pizza was amazing! Doughy and airy, soft but not too chewy crust. One slice is perfect... must be famished to eat two. Loved every morsel

Just had an awesome pizza. Well worth the drive. Bought the full slab now we have leftovers.
This was one of the greatest places for me to eat at. The customer service was awesome. The bartender was very informational he took the time to explain some of the liquors that I was not familiar with. Let's talk about the food all I can say is wow it felt good have pizza that was not normal. Is this a family friendly place? Yes!!! There is plenty of room for everyone. So if you like a rustic feel with a warm feeling then this is your place.
Slab is a great place for casual dining and the food is great. The outdoor music series has been a lot of fun this summer. A little loud if you're at the table directly in front of the stage but still...better than average bands that aren't your run of the mill bar bands that seem to be everywhere else. I only have one criticism; ditch the wood sporks please. Ever try using one? They pull the lips off your face.

First time at Slab, it was great! Awesome beer selection, friendly staff and the pizza was excellent. We sat at the bar and had wondered service. Highly recommended.
Slab is one of the few places I would ever order a Sicilian slice. It's amazing, and everything else I've had has been great too. They constantly rotate stuff on the menu so it never gets boring, but I usually go for the hand slab anyways. Beer selection is usually great as well, but can be a bit pricy sometimes.
After a day of cycling by the waterfront, we very much enjoyed the vintage atmosphere and quality service and food. Our order was made quickly and our server was attentive.
While this place is famous for their slab pizza, and gluten free options are limited, I quite enjoyed my salad with lime anise dressing and pickled veggies. It was a treat.
Stopped into Slab while on a trip to Portland. This place lived up to the hype. Wow. These Sicilian slices are massive and the texture of the dough is outstanding. I wear a size 10 glove, so think about how big these slices are.
Overall good food. The calzone did not have enough filling but that’s just my personal preference. The flavors were good. No real complaints, just nothing to rave about.
I enjoyed my slice at slab Sicilian. The waitress was sweet, she came Around often asking us if we enjoyed our food. I’d return if I was in the area. Only down side was the appetizer, we got the bread chips with a cheese dip, they were very bland. And hard to bite into. Not a good option for an appetizer. Otherwise I enjoyed my meal.
What a slab of pizza! Giant pieces, super delicious. I had the spicy one, wife had pepperoni. Both were amazing. Beer selection was great as well!
Hidden gem on Portland. Great pizza, thin or thick crust, lots of local brews. Great place, great staff.
