We went in because I was interested in the selection of Irish whiskey and the single malt scotch and the menu looked intriguing, the food was phenomenal and the service was top notch as well. We will definitely be going back again.

First time at Bull Feeney's. I had the haddock tacos and my husband ordered the fish and chips. The fries were delicious as were my tacos. Our server was especially knowledgeable about the wines they serve. I loved the atmosphere and the music. I would definitely recommend and return!

Had a great experience sitting in a small corner window seat. We had the opportunity to choose our table and we loved the window seats. Our waitress was very pleasant and the food was delicious. We’ll be back!

The food and service here are always stellar. I visited yesterday with my family (a party of 5, all adults) at 1:00pm. There was no hostess, so there was slight confusion about our reservation, but we were seated quickly upstairs, given bottles of chilled water and menus. Typically I go with Bangers and Colcannon, but I figured I’d try something new and ordered the Shepherd’s Pie with a side of roasted Brussels Sprouts with Pancetta. It was all DELICIOUS, and I had to take home half of my half order of Shepherd’s Pie! Since I’m having it for lunch, warmed up, right now I figured it was a good time to share my great experience at Bull Feeney’s. I really love this place, the ambiance, the servers, the food...the all around experience. Bathrooms could be a little cleaner, but I’m giving it a pass because it’s such a busy restaurant and I know patrons can be slobs at times.

I got the shepards pie with the lamb in it, holy crap it was so good! Best shepards pie ive ever had! Also the waitor was really awesome too! And the beer was fantastic! Sunday is a good night to come if you dont like crowds, my friends and I sat upstairs and we were the only ones up there, the food was fairly quick too! Overall, fantastic experience 10/10 would definetely reccomend!

Our server was wonderful, attentive, and answered our menu questions. The Rueben sandwich was delicious and warm. My husband and I enjoyed having dinner here before attending a concert. Will return.

I'm giving Bulls a 5/5 based on their whiskey collection alone. Huge selection of single malts and I believe Jeff said 50 different bourbons. I drank a few of them. Prices were reasonable too. Friendly staff, with a bar that wraps around into separate rooms. There is an upper floor that we never got to. They had open mic the night we were there and also have a comedy open mic night. It was our last night in Portland and I'm so glad we stopped here. Will definitely go back again. Ps. The people singing were pretty incredible!!! Great local talent!!

Out of towner but have been here numerous times. I haven't experienced the things mentioned in the negative reviews. The Irish fare is very good, the rest of the menu is good too - lobster roll is awesome. Bangers & Colcannon is my favorite. Probably the best Scott and Irish Whiskey selection I've ever seen in my 58 years (not all of them drinking!)

This is probably one of my favorite Irish restaurants in Portland. Trust me, that’s saying a LOT given that Rí Ras (another amazing Irish restaurant) is just around the corner. So why do I give Bull Feeney’s the edge? 1) “Warm Cozy”... everytime I walk in, I feel welcomed. It’s hard to put my finger on it as to why this is so. Perhaps it’s how they’ve preserved the charm of this historic brick building... the amazing views of Old Port... the worn green peeling paint on the window sills... or perhaps it’s how many of the seating selections are tucked away in a cozy corner. 2) “Friendly Staff” every encounter with the staff feels like I’m chatting with a good friend. 3) Amazing food and local craft selection. I’d suggest their fish & chips or bangers and mash.

Bull Feeney's met and exceeded every craving I had for a hamburger and fries. I was immediately delighted and wondered why everyone doesn't have their combination sweet potato and regular french fries. The fries came out quickly served paper wrapped in a bucket accompanied not only ketchup but an array of sauces all so exceptionally delicious I cannot decide which is best. I had the horseradish and my brother joined with the Chipotle mayo. This was followed by burgers cooked exactly to a medium both juicy and flavorful hit out if the kitchen. The building's woodwork interior and excellent noonday lighting made for a perfect lunch stop to which their wonderful staff were quick and friendly. I'm going back for more fries!

You can tell there's history in this Irish pub. A good selection of local craft beers and staple Irish spirits.
