We celebrated our 31st wedding anniversary here! It came highly recommended and it didn't disappoint. Our server was Kendra. She was awesome. Attentive, helpful, just enough. The food as excellent. We started with the tomato, mozzarella, and basil plate. I had the scallops in phyllo pastry special with Gruyere cheese and my husband had the haddock special. Dessert for me was chocolate mousse. Hubby had the chocolate cake with mocha frosting. The atmosphere on the deck is charming and the weather was perfect.
Delicious! And, what a neat spot! The roof top was full, so we sat in the regular dining area and it really felt like being in a treehouse. It has a very unique atmosphere that I loved.
The service was a little slow, but that said our waitress was fantastic and the food was completely worth the wait. I suggest getting a reservation!
We were there last night for the first time and everything was AMAZING!!!The food, ambiance & staff were top notch. It's magical inside and out. I would highly recommend this place.We can't wait to go back.

Six years ago tomorrow, my wife and I were married in your restaurant. We have returned several times, and for the last two years had our anniversary dinner there. Food, service, atmosphere, both outside on the deck, and after the rain indoors, nothing short of fantastic.

I spent the evening of the summer solstice with three of my favorite people at the Treehouse. The outside deck was magical with tree limbs and leaves and gorgeous flowers all trimmed with lights. My Jitterbug (beet and goat cheese) salad was superb-sweet, nutty, and the dressing was delicious. The wild mushroom sauté entree was sooooo good! Combined, the drinks, meal, and company I was with made this a night to remember! I will be back!

Here's the thing. Everything about his place is amazing with the exception of the lighting. I am a big mod lighting guy. I love it. But, when I had use the candles at the tables to read the menu it seemed a bit frustrating . Even then it was difficult to read. Waitress excellent. Food excellent. We r foodies and this place did not disappoint except in the one area.
We loved our evening here! It was magical to sit under the canopy of trees surrounding the deck, and the food and service was fabulous!
This is a staple restaurant, the ambiance sets the tone for the rest of the evening. The service is always outstanding and the food is even better. The chef is amazing! One of my favorite restaurants in portland!
Great food. Best salad I've ever had in a restaurant. Service was excellent. Server was Caitlin(sp.). I recommend it highly. Parking is not a problem, unlike the Old Port.
We had never been, and every person had amazing food and excellent service in a beautiful, nature oriented atmosphere. Thanks to the treehouse for a great birthday dinner for my mother in law!! The waitresses sang happy birthday and brought out a beauuutiful cake- really a lovely night!

Excellent service and the steak was the best steak I've ever had. It was like eating velvet, but...meat. On that note, if I ever start a progressive 80's rock supergroup I'm going to name it Meat Velvet. Will definitely be coming back.
Attractive, eclectic restaurant with reasonable sound level and interesting menu, reasonably priced ($25-30) for large portions of well prepared food. Service was good but I am always bothered when the server does not tell the prices of the specials unless asked, as was the case here. NOT handicapped accessible, up a long flight of narrow stairs.
Hidden Gem in Portland. My wife and I have had the pleasure of eating at the Treehouse twice now in the past month. From the moment we arrive to the end of our meal it has been a terrific dining experience. The atmosphere is so cool. The staff so attentive and the food .. fabulous. Well done. We will be back.
Cafe at Pat's is a very good neighborhood restaurant. Dining room with exposed building frame is cozy. Enlarged back porch among the trees is an oasis. Food is good, creative, and chef and gang are able to accommodate special diets.
Definitely one of, if not the best, meals I have ever had in Portland. I ordered the sirloin steak with au gratin potatoes which came with grilled zucchini and fresh wild mushrooms. Our bottle of shiraz was great as well as our ravioli crisps appetizer. So good! Our waitress was nice too, Danielle I think it was. The atmosphere is great. Sort of like a cabin with all wood walls and floors and candle lit. I would highly recommend Pats.
Seriously amazing. I rarely go out for dinner ... I have had the pleasure of having dinner twice at The Cafe at Pat's; once with a party of eight, once with a friend. Honestly, just walking up the stairs ... the wonderful scents, the whole feel of the place! And, the accoustics ... you can hear all the sounds of conversation, music, but they don't interfere with normal conversation at your table. And the food really was one tastebud surprise after another ... several appetizers tried and wanted more; then dinner ... I tried something of everyone's, because each dish was a visual and aromatic work of creativity and perfection ... delicious is an understatement! The waitstaff was wonderful, friendly, accommondating! Loved every second and can't wait for the next time ... oh! reasonable, as well!
Excelent meals!. I have eaten here several times for dinner and I have NEVER been left unsatisfied. They use really high quality food in their dishes and everything thing I have ever tried there has been cooked to perfection. They have great simple salads and appetizers and they have wonderful seasonal dishes to choose from. Their desserts are to die for-the best chocolate mousse I have ever had!
It can be a little pricey with a bunch of people but it's a great atmosphere paired with great service and great food please get out to Steven's ave. to check this place out!
I really liked the fruits and veggies that got added to each dinner. The apps were very tasty and so were the entrees. The major downside to this place is cash/ venmo only and very expensive. I'd say it's a little expensive for the quality of the food.
An absolutely perfect experience! Everyone was incredibly friendly and professional from start to finish. We didn't have a reservation but luckily another party had just canceled and we were quickly accommodated by the very kind hostess. We were offered our choice of dining inside or outside on their deck. We chose the latter and the ambiance was perfect! The surrounding trees, hanging lights and water fountain made for a very relaxing atmosphere and truly made it feel like we were in a treehouse. It was very private and peaceful. Our server, "Aloe", was the absolute best! And not to mention the food...Everything was perfect and tasted so fresh and comforting that it felt like we were eating at home with family ☺️ This was our first time here but definitely not our last! We think we found one of our new favorite spots!
If you've ever wondered what it's like to eat in a treehouse this is your joint. The decor and vibe are exactly what you'd imagine them to be and set thr tone for a magical evening. We brought our little with us and they treated them so great. Our service was great. The drinks are incredible and the cheesecake is a must. We had the Flatbread for an appetizer and were glad we did. The main courses were wonderful as well. It's definitely a Mediterranean vibe on the dishes, so expect veggies, green, and fruit. We can't wait to come back 🙌
