My office just hosted a lunch meeting for 15 people. You should have seen everybody's faces light up when they realized that lunch would be from Anthony's!!! Your reputation precedes you! The lasagna was wonderful, the garlic bread was perfect, and each and every meatball was like a hug for the soul! Thank you for another wonderful lunch! Of course I will recommend you to EVERYONE, although I doubt I have to. It would seem everyone already knows how great you are!

The best pizza in Portland! Anthony's is a classic. Definitely my first choice for a good pepperoni pizza!

Since I moved to Maine I have never found a real Italian sub. But that ended today when I found Anthony's!!! It was as good as the ones in Boston if not better . And the place is just so adorable. I think they have found a new regular.

Nicest staff, best subs in town. Old school type of place where you are appreciated as a customer. Favorite lunch spot in Portland.

We had them cater our office dinner. Everyone enjoyed the food and Anthony's staff is very easy to do business with!

Food is always top notch and authentic. I come for lunch at least 2 times a week, and the customer service is always amazing. Truly family owned, where you feel like leaving as one of their own.

Sausage, peppers and onions better than ANY place I know! And the steak Pizziola .... Mmmmmm. Mouth watering!! Or if you want the best comfort food around, ask for the "Slabbo". It's a secret menu item and made with nothing but LOVE!!

Immersed between the gates of Videoport and Bull Moose, a door to an amazing restaurant awaits, surrounded by a mural of Broadway musicals. Inside, the atmosphere is great--dark, quiet--a nice to place to go when you need to think or just take a break from the craziness of Maine's busiest city. The food is absolutely delicious and the employees, while they may seem intimidating at first, are extremely kind and respectful. Perfect for anyone needing a quick bite to eat before heading back to the honking horns and crowded streets of Portland. (Oh, and for any Sopranos fans out there, this is a must because Anthony's has a great collection of Sopranos memorabilia on their walls!)

The food is great and the owners are probably the nicest people I have ever met. The Boston Italian with hots is amazing.

Get the roast beef sandwich, the aged parmesan pairs well with wine!

I have had an appreciation for Anthony' from the very first day that it opened. According to Julia Child, you don't have to cook fancy or complicated masterpieces.. just good food from fresh ingredients. This rings true now as it did when Anthony's opened. JOIN THE TRADITION.

Came for a late lunch after exploring Portland. My husband & I both couldn't finish our sandwiches, they were HUGE. My husband got an Italian Sausage Sandwich and it came with 3 sausages inside! We also ordered 2 canollis but after the sandwiches we only had room for a few bites, which was delicious!

I found Anthony’s Italian Kitchen on Google during my first visit to Portland 6 months ago. The food was so good that my family and I ordered from them again on our next trip five months later. I had a chance to meet the owner on my first visit who was a very friendly transplant from Boston.

Huge portions, freshly made, very delicious food!! Placed a large lunch order for work and it showed up on time, hot and everything was correct for the order. All of us in the office have decided to make this a go to lunch place!

Best Italian food in Portland! Old family recipes and friendly family run staff. Lots of fun history on the walls. Do not miss out on the meatballs and best pizza anywhere! My hubby talks about the food daily!

Unassuming place that is amazingly wonderful. My Italian wife has been on the search for the perfect cannoli. In our 13 years together, this is the first time she has said "oh yeah, this is it...the PERFECT cannoli!". Oh, and the sandwiches are also great!
