Rossobianco - Portland - Photo album

I'm guessing the previous reviewers went to a different restaurant as I had the best Italian food in Portland. I chose 2 cheeses and 2 meats as an appetizer, and they were served with yummy focaccia. I, too had the carbonara and it was perfection. Creamy and eggy enough! We ended with a creamy choco
We ordered the cheese and meat plate to start but the meat was slapped on a loose plate in an ugly heap and there were just two tiny pieces of cheese. The presentation was just wrong. The broccoli rabe was literally inedible and couldn't have cut it unless I had a chain saw and my pasta carbonara w
We had very high expectations because David levy of Vinland is one of our favorite chefs. Our expectations were not quite met. It was fine for a local tratoria just not as good as we hoped.
The food is delicious, fresh, honest Italian food. The fried risotto balls are killer and just $5 and there's excellent house made pasta for just $12 for a small portion.
Best Italian food in Portland...besides Olive Garden...Just kidding. Every plate we ordered was excellent. Good portions and intimate atmosphere.
It closed before I could review it or go back. Oh well. We enjoyed it. They own another restaurant, Vinland, which is a farm-to-table restaurant. We'll try that soon...
Overcomplicated from the choices on the menu to the needlessly obscure vegetables. The food when eventually served was amateur. We literally could not eat our main course or vegetable.
Uncle Vinnie would be impressed. The menu, food, drinks and atmosphere were fantastic. Looking forward to coming back soon!
