Clark Street Deli - Portland - Photo album

What a great treasure the neighborhood of the Clark Street Deli and Market has. I had two sandwiches that were awesome...the East Ender with fried chicken, ham, swiss, mayo, lettuce and tomato on a toasted roll, and the Oakdale ,which is like a Cuban paninni. Both were lovingly, (and I truly mean
Weird hours for a corner store. A neighborhood store should cater to the community, not the weekend crowd. The selection of products seems to be diminishing over time. High design, but no grocery staples.
Place is garbage. I love the ganj but these kids are so stoned they can't even function. and they don't make there sandwiches with love. Just thrown together at the last second because they forgot you placed an order. And everything is stupid expensive to boot
They're never open. When they ate they don't answer the phone. Inventory has gone down book since it was Vespucci's. Over all, I wish David would open Vespuccis again
Keith, Phil, Abbey, Pauline and the rest of the crew make it a joy to come back again and again. Not only is their food excellent, the service is too.
My favorite is the whole sized big john. Very generous portion size which makes it a great value.
