I have been to multiple Thirsty Moose Locations and Portsmouth is still by far the best for quality of the food, timeliness, friendliness, and providing an atmosphere that is comfortable to those who are bar hopping and those who have families with kids. Highly recommend!

Very popular, busy spot downtown. Saturday night we arrived with no wait, although the upstairs seating was full, so we sat downstairs. I was surprisingly impressed with this place. The pizza was fantastic and the drinks were great! The service was friendly and fast. I would highly recommend! The building is absolutely beautiful and old. I loved the comfortable seating and the old wooden floors.

Visited the Thirsty Moose in mid Feb 2019. It's a stereotypical, low light bar with big TV's, tons of beers and no-nonsense bar food. It was trivia night when I visited. The service was excellent. Quickly seated and served my beverage. Ordered two different drafts which came cold and quickly. They

Incredible staff, tasty apps, great beer selection! Came here on a whim looking for some beers and snacks. The fried pickles app is huge and delicious, and the waiter had great beer tips. Would come back if I was in the area again!

Extremely helpful and friendly staff made great recommendations! Delicious appetizers, pizza, burgers, and beer! Definitely worth the visit - go and help make sure this great place survives the pandemic.

Nice spot. It has that colder industrial atmosphere. Lots of metal and concrete which is getting less and less unique. We sat at the bar. The food was great amd they had a great selection of beers. The bartender was also very knowledgeable and courteous.
