The food here is great, I’ve been going here for a few years now and whenever I take my friends/family here they love it!! The service is the best here, they always treat me and my friends/family like with care and respect. However, there was an incident that happened a few weeks ago with another table while I was there and they were very disrespectful to the staff, they were way over dramatic and the staff did all they could to be kind and respectful to the mean people. At the end of the day this is a great place to dine at, 10/10 recommend!!!

My friend grew-up in Potomac, so we spent a full day wandering about her old neighborhood reminiscing. That night, for dinner, we dined at Renato, which was sublime. From the wine to the calamari to the pasta to the service, it was such an air of elevated, elegant comfort. There was an easy warmth that wrapped us up and returned us to a nostalgic time, that somehow felt dreamlike.
My husband has been wanting to take me here and I’m glad we went! It was excellent! Probably one of the best Italian places in Montgomery County! They are pricey, but worth it!

An old school restaurant with good service but the food is underwhelming and overpriced. Good for groups though, especially if you have an older crowd who enjoys a quieter, slightly stodgy environment.

Best dining experience in at least two years. Service was phenomenal. Food was excellent. The two waiters worked together and were spot on with timing and service without all the extra unnecessary check-ins. Whenever we needed something, they were there. Whenever we didn't need something, they weren't there. This is a difficult skill to master. The food was also great, but I have to give special kudos to the service because it seems to be more rare.
Service is excellent. The food is nice but a bit bland except for too much garlic in the spinach, which sticks with you for days!
We stopped here for lunch after a morning at Glenstone. We didn't need reservations, it wasn't crowded and the service was excellent. The pasta had great texture and the sauces were light and fresh. We enjoyed the spaghetti and meatballs, linguine with shrimp and scallops, lobster ravioli, and grilled trout. All delicious.
My favorite appetizer is the sautéed calamari in a white wine sauce, and my favorite main course is the chicken parmesan. Fantastic meal and much better service. Excellent typical Italian restaurant.
