They have a decent buffet. If that isn't your cup of tea, they also have a menu to choose from. They have children's and seniors in addition to the regular menu. They play music from The seventies era and the atmosphere is relaxed.
Highly organized to follow the new rules and still delicious. The staff treats you like family!
Nice experience after not having been for 30+ years since Ponderosa left Canada. Very good steak.
I like to visit Ponderosa for lunch as I am able to get my plate as soon as I sit down. There is an excellent salad bar and a good variety of hot foods. The food is always fresh and got or cold as appropriate.

We have been going to Potsdam Ponderosa for years. We really enjoy the cozy atmosphere and super friendly staff. I love the all you can eat buffet. We often order it for lunch. A good place to bring the children as there is such a wide variety of food that you can mix and match. Great place!
Our waitress was great. She kept the dirty dishes off our table,she checked to see if we needed refills on our drinks. It was busy and the young girl on the buffet kept it filled and clean. She paid attention to spills and messes people made on salad bar .
I haven't been to this place for a very very long time. Didn't care about their menu. However, when we went there this time it was really good. Glad to see they actually have different kinds of food and not the same thing every day
Very friendly staff and my entree was hot and cooked great! The only problem was that I got there too late since the website has them open until 8:30 but their actual closing time was 8:00. If I knew their proper hours it would have been a perfect experience.

I love the steak here. This was my father-in-law favorite place to eat, so we will be continue his tradition of going there for thanksgiving. Great place to take the kids because they have many choices to choose from.
