It's quaint and a great place to cool off. Today I was out with my wife and kids and Poulsbo decided to get up in the high 70's. Mora was a great choice for some great ice cream/ sorbet! They have seasonal flavors and some unique ones, not to mention the originals. The service was excellent as the girl behind the counter explained everything we needed and let us sample a few flavors. The inside was very clean and well kept. We will most definitely make this our go to ice cream spot.
UPDATE: Cupcake Royale is now in my opinion the best ice cream in Seattle. The Chef Series especially. Amazing. Right up there with Salt and Straw. Probably because the owners are BFF's. That being said, I really like Mora. It's great ice cream.
Excellent Ice Cream. This is in my opinion the best ice cream in Seattle. And it's not even in Seattle. But it's close enough. Although I wouldn't mind if they opened in West Seattle. Hint, hint... As a base line, I would consider Humphry Slocombe or Salt & Straw the best ice cream I have ever had. They are both game changers. Mora is not quite the same level, but it is very very good. I mean, really good. Hats off, and thank you for your passion. You can't make something this good without being passionate about it.
Great service, amazing flavors. I'm not sure why people have negative reviews of this place - the service is amazing and they're very willing to let you sample as many flavors as you'd like, so you definitely know what you're getting when you eat it. Also, there are so many flavors to choose from that it's hard to not find something that you'll LOVE! As a Seattleite, I cannot wait to go back to Bainbridge just for Mora!
Mora is great. Huge selection of ice cream ranging from candy filled kid flavors to more subtle adult flavors all of which are very good. One of the gems of Kitsap peninsula, definitely go there if you're in the area.
Every town has their little local ice cream shop, and Poulsbo's Mora Ice Cream is the ideal ice cream shop for downtown area.
Located on the outer skirts of the downtown district of Poulsbo, Mora Ice Cream has plenty of options for people wanting satisfy their ice cream craving. It is less than one block away from nearby attractions, shops, restaurants, parks, and trails. Parking can be a bit difficult as the parking is shared with other aforementioned businesses.
This shop has both traditional ice cream and sorbets options as well as local/original options. Many of the flavors are offered with glutan free and vegan friendly as well! Prices are decent and affordable, be prepared to pay a pretty penny if you decided to order something with all the bells and whistles. Staff is nice and polite - willing to give patrons flavor tastes and answer a plethora of questions.
There is only outdoor dining options as of now. Due to COVID-19, the interior seating has been restricted to keep their employees and other customers safe. Honestly, in my opinion, it is not a big deal since you and your date, family, or friends can walk less than half a block to sit at the Poulsbo waterfront where there are plenty of picnic areas and outdoor seating options.
Overall, this place is a must if you are in or around the downtown Poulsbo area.
Best ice cream I ever had. Surely will recommend Mora iced creamery for everyone.
The best Ice cream I've ever had. The kids that work here are great. The little lady that runs these stores is amazing at her job. Keep up the hard work everyone and keep it homey.
They don’t skimp on portions! Lots of flavors to choose from, friendly staff, happy kids.
Creamy, Not-Too Sweet, Delicious Licks of White Chocolate Ice Cream - simply scoops of Mora’s ice cream in plastic cup along with a separate can of A&W root beer when a root beer float is ordered here - glad their ice creams were all covered for there were flies swarming inside shop - Nice and Breezy Outside Seating on this summery night!
