Canteen - Provincetown - Photo album

We really enjoyed the atmosphere and picked a table near the beach. Wonderful view with a cool ocean breeze as we ate. The grilled cheese with crab and the grilled cheese with lobster was delicious. The hot lobster roll was also delicious. The chickpea tacos were great. Service was friendly. The on
The canteen in Cape Cod offers a delightful dining experience with its cozy ambiance and diverse menu options. The fresh, locally-sourced seafood dishes are particularly outstanding, showcasing the region's culinary strengths. Efficient service and reasonable pricing make it a must-visit for both lo
It was a good idea to have dinner here after whales trip. This beach bar has a sea view right near a beach close to harbor. You have to order your food and pay at a counter. You will receive your drinks also right here. The wine is served in plastic cups. The plates for food are metal which is inter
From the street the place looks tiny, but as soon as you got their back it has cozy couches and nice beach tables! It was busy, but food came fast. We tried their lobster roll breakfast on croissant and it was delicious. We also ordered their famous Brussels sprouts and Bloody Mary 👍🏼 awesome music
Absolutely the best seafood around! I had the pleasure of meeting a local gentleman who’s been in PTown since ‘87, and he insisted we try The Canteen. I was thrilled to snag a table for six in the cozy rounded corner with a huge window. The decor gives off a camp-like vibe, but don’t be fooled, the
The food seems very healthy. I'm not a salad person but the salad served with my vegan hummus bagel was really good. There's a beach with seating in the back. It looks like they have a beach bar. It's really cute. You order and pay up front then they give you a number to serve you when you sit at th
10/10. Ordered at the front walk in area; 2 sets of fish tacos, cauliflower fritters, and the crispy brussel sprouts. Walked out back to the end of the porch and there is one table right in the sand on the beach. YAHTZEE! Secured our amazing table and immediately headed to the bar out back. House ma
Yummy food, though salmon was a little over cooked… lobster roll was a huge hit! beautiful views and great outdoor space!
Lobster roll is almost on every menu in Cape Town. Must try it. Better get it at the seafood restaurant. It was so good and big ($25). Coleslaw is a little tangy and fresh. Relaxing atmosphere in the back.
This is my favorite place in PTown. The variety of food, from breakfast to dinner, is excellent. The prices (compared to everything else in Provincetown) are very reasonable. I recommend sitting at the far end of the backyard.
Back deck/sitting area is beautiful at night! I had the fish tacos my friend had the lobster roll. Both were great! The crispy Brussels sprouts were awesome too! My bloody Mary was perfectly spicy! You have to take your plates up after your meal to the cleaning station. Very nice place
Amazing lunch! The Clam Chowder really hit the spot and the Miso Salmon was tasty with just enough kick. Our drinks were good, and it felt so great have a cocktail on the beach surrounded by sand and blue skies. The staff were friendly and welcoming even though it was busy. 10/10 will be coming agai
Cute spot on Provincetown strip not too far from pier. We sat outside with ocean views. Patio is a bit cramped but cute and music was great. Was disappointed in my lobster roll, meat was tough and tasted reheated. My mom enjoyed the cod Bahn mi, daughter said calamari was ok. Sangria was nice but ha
So many vegan options! I got the chickpea tacos and roasted brussel sprouts. They have lots of drinks too. You can walk down to the water and dip your toes in. Great atmosphere right on the beach!
The clam chowder is amazing as well as the fish & chips. The fish is tasty, the fries are crispy and fresh. The coleslaw is the best I ever had. The atmosphere is like an old school diner. We definitely come back. Thank you!!
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Food was outstanding. Definitely recommend to anyone. The atmosphere in the back was awesome, a lot of seats. Lots of different items to select from the menu.
I've had the pleasure of dining at The Canteen in Province Town on a few occasions, and my recent visit left quite an impression. The crispy Brussels sprouts with a delightful egg topping were an absolute standout—undeniably the finest Brussels sprouts I've encountered on the cape. While the fried c
