A few locals recommended this place and it did not disappoint! It’s casual and cozy with friendly people and local fresh food done really really well. Asked for some suggestions and our lovely server Brian steered us right. We had wellfleet oysters, smoked haddock chowder, scallop ceviche, fish tacos, fish sandwich, and some local beers. The haddock was so fresh and tasty and everything was seasoned so well. I almost never finish my plate but I ate every last morsel.

Came here with my family on our exploration of Cape Cod. We went in based on the recommendation of a person stood outside who raves about the smoked seafood chowder. My wife had her heart set on chowder so we went in. My wife got the smoked chowder, which was great, I had the fish tacos which were quite nice , and then we shared the Cape Cod seafood platter with fried haddock, shrimp, and scallops and devoured every bite! It came to 85 usd, so be prepared to spend here, but it is pretty good.

Stopped in to have a drink and some apps at the bar. The bartenders were very friendly. We ordered Wellfleet Oysters and the Seafood Chowder. I typically prefer clam chowder to seafood chowder, but this one was delicious! It’s made with smoked halibut so it gave it almost a bacon-y taste without the bacon.

The Squealing Pig is a restaurant I’ve had on my Ptown list for a few years now. It’s casual, the staff is kind, and the food was very good. I ended up doing as a previous reviewer did and got the oysters and seafood chowder. Both were great!

We went here twice and both times were very good , except at the change over of staff . First time we had some apps before dinner … muscles and oysters were both delicious . The French 335 is a refreshing and delicious cocktail - when made right . We returned a other night craving the drink and also decided to have lobster rolls - this lobster roll was less expensive than the lobster pot and on par with the quality . Here is is with light mayo and bacon - yes , bacon is a nice spin and goes very well. The problem we had was that the cocktail was awful the second time and we were explained that it was a different bartender. So they remade it but it was still not very good . Could have just been a bad day 🤷🏻‍♀️

My girlfriends & I made a semi-annual trip to Provincetown last weekend and it was a pretty busy Saturday afternoon. After exploring all our favorite shops and walking around for hours we went over to the Squealing Pig (recommendations from several of the people working at the shops)and it was packed. Not a single table free. Julie, the most amazing hostess, was optimistic that a table would free up in 15 minutes or so. We told her that we wanted to explore the cute little shop next door so off we went. About 10 minutes later she actually went next door to find us! Who does that? Especially a place so busy with others starting to line up outside? We were so grateful! Julie gave us the best table in the front window and recommended some of her favorites on the menu (we asked). We all picked one of her recommendations and they were all great! I got the lobster roll- one of the very best that I’ve ever had. Lightly dressed with mayonnaise and just the right amount of lettuce on a delicious lightly grilled roll. So good! The Bloody Mary’s were fantastic as well. Our waiter was the perfect combination of attentive without over doing it. Highly recommend this gem of a restaurant to all, you won’t be disappointed!

This place made me want to drink more beer and eat more meat, which I eventually did (and in excess)....to which I say, "arghhhhh, me piggy market; go there, and also Goldilocks, get yur own, you house-invading lil' sap-sipper."

Lively place, great ambiance, very tasty lunch. We enjoyed between us a vegan butternut soup complimented by grilled bread, yummy cheeseburger and a wonderful filling chili. Loved the upside down Christmas tree!

Oysters were good despite it not being the right time of year for oysters. Lobster rolls were slightly rubbery but generous and well made.
