John's Footlong - Provincetown - Photo album

Good food and a perfect location to hide from the crowds. While you can order food to go, you can also relax and people watch on their patio above.
A great place to grab something quick to eat while you're walking around. Good Staff, good food, and quick. Lots of classic American options. Didn't take long for the food to come. There is a cool rainbow crosswalk right there as well.
Best fried scallops I think I have ever had. Sweet and juicy, just barely breaded and cooked to perfection. Got them on two different days and they were exceptional both times. Scallops are expensive but one order feeds two generously as a late lunch- order to split and the per-person cost is very r
The foot-long hot dogs are, of course, the most well-known thing that they serve here — but honestly, the whole menu is delicious! The fried dough, especially.
Ahhh, nothing brings back the childhood memories like a visit to John's. As a kid, we used to always stop at John's after a whale watch and it was those great summer memories that brought me back this year. We used the Long Point Shuttle earlier in the day and with a half an hour before our bus, I m
The Portuguese Rice is their hidden gem. Every summer my family always makes a visit to John's Footlong to all get our favorite P-Town snack. We have been trying to replicate it at home for years, but I think the crucial missing ingredient is the people watching while enjoying a bowl of the rice whi
I didn’t even eat here but my friends did, and they won’t stop RAVING about the scallop rolls! They were absolutely blown away by the generous portions of fresh and delicious scallops.
Amazing as always. Every year we stop for these scallop rolls and every year they are amazing! High quality. And they aren't so caked in breading you can't taste the scallop, they let the star speak for itself.
Very good hot dogs. Employees are friendly and attentive. It has a place on top of the building where you can eat under umbrellas to avoid the sun. Hot dogs are really good and a large fries is great for two people. I recommend !
Not fancy but quick and delicious. Not terribly expensive either, If you’re looking for a quick bite while and Ptown, you’ll find one here.
Counter service, nothing fancy. But honestly one of the best lobster rolls in town. Lots of tail meat and not too much mayonnaise. Good fresh fries and good hotdogs, too.
Best little shack with the best burgers and hot dogs and the fry's?! THE BEST!! I go every year! Even when we went in Oct for my anniversary and I was pregnant I literally craved John's food and ate there every night haha
Quick bites. I've eaten here every few years and it's always reliable. I had fish and chips the other day and it was yummy.
With wait times hitting 2-3 hours at the sit-down restaurants in Provincetown when I was there the weekend of July 4th, I was very happy to snag a quick and reasonably priced lobster roll here. The fried scallops were also pretty good.
The fried scallop basket was so good I almost cried! Hugest scallops I've ever seen!
Whenever I visit Provincetown I always stop here for a foot long hot dog and sometimes chowder too. The prices are good and the food is tasty as well. It's conveniently located at Lopes Square right near Macmillan Wharf and Commercial Street. Highly recommended for a quick bite to eat.
Really good seafood. Located right off the pier, you can get food and take it down the pier and eat. Also have a small patio on the top of the restaurant. Walk up only, no table service
