We enjoyed sitting outside for breakfast, the spot was very bright and cheerful. The service was great and the food was home-comforting. I had chicken and waffles which were both savoy and sweet. My partner had the blueberry pancakes with eggs and home fries which were very good. Overall a great spot to start your day for breakfast!
The pasta we had for dinner was remarkable: both spaghettis, the eggplant and the shrimp were absolutely perfect. There were no tables outside, so we had to sit at the bar, but it was not a problem. The service was also great. If I had just one thing to add I’d say for Liz to put prices at the drinking menu. Can’t wait to eat the shrimp pasta again!
On my first visit to Ptown, I was lucky enough to get a recommendation for Liz’s. I can’t say enough good things about this spot! We went there first for breakfast: it was busy but we got a lovely greeting, great eggs with amazing home fries, and although we had to share a table the staff was attentive to spacing out the parties so we never felt cramped. When we mentioned an interest in dinner the waitress brought us the menu to preview.
Had dinner there three nights in a row and it was wonderful every time! The staff was consistently warm and welcoming, even when busy. Food was prompt, hot, and delicious (a special shout out to the cod florentine and chicken parmesan). It was a little too chilly for the patio, but it’s very pretty.
Tips: reserve early for dinner (breakfast and lunch are first come, first served) and plan to look for parking. And try the cod!
Good breakfast option! The Steak & Eggs was quite satisfying. And if preferred, the fruit option was fresh, fresh, fresh and a nice mix of fruits. The Hash Benedict also super hearty and delicious. Good coffee as well. Charming restaurant with very nice service all around.
As soon as I arrived in Provincetown, I walked around to search for an easy sit-down breakfast place to fuel up. That was how I found Liz's Cafe. A true, classic, simple brunch spot. Everything about this place, from the food and service to the vibes, felt very homey. The servers were kind enough to seat me right away at the bar, and made sure I was doing okay throughout various points in my meal. The food was great. Nothing blew me out of the water, but the standard combination of eggs, bacon, potatoes, and pancakes fulfilled my expectations of a high-quality brunch. Lovely place, would come back here many times over. (note to self: gotta try their homemade hash next time)
The eggs Benedict were awesome! Definitely a great spot for breakfast. I wish we had more time to go back and try more items. Their corned beef hash is house made so we had to try it and I definitely will get it again!
Very easy going restaurant. The breakfast was phenomenal. The flavors in the California scramble were unbeatable. The drinks and service were good and the atmosphere was all good vibes. This could easily be a staple for our week
Highly recommend this spot. There was a short wait but there’s a nice seating area for people waiting. The food was 10/10. The pancakes were actually so delicious and the Vermont maple syrup took it over the top! Drinks and homemade OJ were also delicious. Service was super attentive and kind and they were able to make substitutions to accommodate for vegetarian diets, which I really appreciated.
My daughter and I had breakfast at Liz’s Cafe and we liked it so much we made reservations for Dinner the next evening. The atmosphere, the food, my daughter had the chicken parmigiana and I had Steak was delicious. Our server, Philip was wonderful. Highly recommend.
Cute intimate space, service staff kind, excellent suggestions on food items. Absolutely loved the twinkle lights suspended from the ceiling. Fresh flowers daily. Food EXCELLENT!!! Definitely will be back !!
