Frankly, I was anticipating my experience at the Palace to be a bit sour at first after driving a good fifteen minutes through the overly compacted streets of Provo in search of a semi-decent parking space with a hungry friend fresh from a long day’s shift at work. That is irrelevant though and was not nearly the case whatsoever. From the very moment I stepped into India Palace, I was immediately swallowed up into a whole new world of culture, splendid food, and unparalleled dining services. In the front waiting room, there were many different figures and statues that represented much of the art you would find living in India. The design of the seating arrangements as well as the décor that scattered the walls all had a very stylistic appeal and the hint of exotic music in the background was mesmerizing. I felt like I was transported into another country upon my very entry. There was a mild, aromatic scent of rich, spiced curry I couldn’t help but take in that functioned as both an awe-inspired awakening to the senses as well as an undeniable statement of true authenticity- aka this is not just your run-out-of-the-mill Indian restaurant. After less than a minute, we were immediately tended to and seated accordingly by one of the most dignified hosts I have seen in Utah Valley. Shortly after, we were then greeted by our server for the night of whom I cannot possibly list enough complimentary adjectives to describe the extreme friendliness, politeness, startlingly courageous work ethic, and unbeatable awareness he had. The menu of specialties offered by the Palace is very tasteful and offers a wide variety of homemade Indian cuisines from traditional soups, masala and ginger spiced meats, to many vegetarian options as well if you roll that way. A “meat lover” and vegan can easily enjoy dining here together without the worry of any projectile silverware being frustrated toward one another. My friend and I both ordered the Chicken Tikka Masala, a popular chicken dish cooked in a tandoori-style oven with cream, pepper, and spices, which I highly recommend. After the waiter was finished taking our orders, we only had to wait about ten to fifteen minutes for our dinners to be prepared- which is a surprisingly good undertaking for such an authentic establishment. The entrées arrived to our table served in unique styles of bowls and plates. My friend even bothered made a remark about them to the waiter! Both of the Masalas as well as the rice were at perfect temperatures and were artworks in and of themselves. I almost didn’t want to eat it because it was so pretty. The tender, outstandingly cooked chicken rested in a warm, red bath of silky, savory cream sauce that had a moderate kick to it. Fresh Basmati rice complimented the pungent flavor even more. The one thing I saw any hint of trouble in was the portion of the Masala bowls seeming a bit small at first. However it indeed fills you up pretty efficiently and the quality of the food highly outweighs anything foreseen as an issue. Once my guest and I were done relishing in the superb entrées, the checks were kindly given to us in a very prompt manner (I disdain waiting hours upon hours to receive the bill). We were thanked countless times by the amazingly friendly waiter. It seemed as though he enjoyed assisting us almost more than we had enjoyed the food and being served! Overall, I found India Palace undeniably impressive. The tactful design, highly satisfying food, and constantly hard-working servers all contributed to a very, very successful visit. I will definitely eat there again and I strongly recommend this restaurant to anyone who loves Indian cuisine or is brave enough to try it for the first time.

Some of the best Indian food I've ever had. If we could make vegetables dishes as good as thiers I might not need meat. They make you feel at home and I also loved the Indian tea.

Amazing food! And really great service! They once mixed up our order just a little bit and instead of bringing us the one order that was wrong, they brought us out the entire meal again and said it was on the house. They were very kind and understanding.

Always the best, both food and service. Dining at India Palace feels more like dinner with friends than it does a restaurant.

I love the India Palace in Provo! They are always so nice and friendly and they remember customers who come often. I always get their chicken tikka masala, but my family all go here. My mom loves the saag penir. And the naan is amazing. Their lunch buffet is perfect and so is the price. I can't speak more highly of this restaurant!

Decided to celebrate our 3 year Facebook announcement Anniversary Dinner with my husband at #IndiaPalaceProvo of course we had to have Indian food. We were seated quickly and started the meal with #OnionBhaji (Crispy and delicately seasoned sliced onions, made in a light batter) and #Mulligatawny (South Indian soup made with lentils, onions, tamarind & spices.) both very tasty. The soup had a very comforting warmth to it. Entrees: #LambBhunna (Cooked with sauteed onions, green pepper, ginger, garlic & spices) #MangoChickenKorma (Cooked with ground mango, yogurt, onions, garlic, ginger, tomatoes, cashews and curry spices) We ordered our mains at Hot spice level as the mains really weren’t to spicy. We ordered #PeshwariNaan (Naan served with a delicate filling of ground coconut, cashews & golden raisins, rolled out & cooked in a tandoori oven) the bread had a nice sweetness that compliment the rich, savory meal. Beverages were a very tasty #mangoMintLassi the mint was a yummy surprise and added great flavor to the normal mango. I had a #stellaArtoisBeer which complimented the meal nicely. We closed the celebratory meal with some #MangoIceCream in which you could taste the mango pulp in the homemade ice cream. We had an excellent anniversary dinner at India Palace Provo.

We went to check out their lunch buffet, excited to try a bunch of Indian dishes we haven't tried before. But what they call a buffet, is more accurately described as a lunch combo. It has 3 different sauces, that you don't even get to pick, rice & naan, and is not all you can eat. Everything else was great, I loved my chicken tikka masala. But I just wanted to put a heads up out there so other people don't go there expecting a real all you can eat buffet.

I can’t say enough good about this place!! The food and atmosphere are authentic and exquisite. The Chicken Tikka Masala is as good as any I’ve ever tasted. The rice is incredibly aromatic and tasty. The owner is almost always the one to greet you at the door. You can tell that he takes pride in and is extremely passionate about the quality of every guest’s experience. Keep doing what you’re doing, it’s working!

Such a great date place and the food hits every time. Generous portions of curry and nann leave you with enough to take home and definitely try the peshwari nann. Such a delicious dessert and it's my absolute favorite!

It's by far my favorite Indian restaurant in Utah. Food is very authentic. Drinks are great. The mango lassie is delicious. My dish of choice is Chicken Tiki Massala (medium). I like spicy foods and "medium" choice is a perfect level for me. And I need to mention their rice. Its perfection! Normally, I am not a big fan of cardamom, infact I barely can't stand cardamom when it's used in normal food. But when it's used properly (like in "India Palace" rice), it's amazing spice. So, In the vicinity, then stop by if you not in a vicinity of this restaurant, then drive there. Trust me, you wouldn't be disappointed.

Taken aback at how damn good the food was here. Lamb vindaloo and chicken masala were some of the best I’ve had. Waiter was so nice too! Amazing stuff.

The choices that they provide for their lunch buffet are not too varied. Overall the experience was enjoyable even though the food for the lunch buffet was not as good as expected. The service was very attentive. They refilled our drinks about 20 times even though we probably drank a total of two cups each, so you know you’ll always have water when you need it! 🙃

I had a wonderful experience at the India Palace. Their service was friendly and prompt and our server was knowledgeable about the food. I got the chicken coconut kurma, garlic naan, and paneer naan (naan baked with cheese). It tastes so flavorful and hearty. I don’t like spicy foods so I got it mild, which wasn’t spicy at all. It still had a ton of flavor though and the chicken wasn’t dry! The naan and rice are my favorites and they are meant to compliment the main dish. The rice has so much spices and the naan is so tasty. I got full off of the paneer naan cause I ate it so fast haha I couldn’t help myself ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ The restaurant has a good atmosphere. The walls are accented with pieces of art all around the restaurant. It’s real fun to listen to the music and enjoy everything around the room. If you want to try a good drink, the mint mango lassi is a good one. The flavors actually go well together in a pleasant way. Overall I loved my experience here at the Provo location and I plan on coming back.
