The building is under construction so it was the food truck in the back Sep 2023. Though this gave off a little bit of hesitation the food was great! Seating was better than expected. Lots of umbrellas for share and lunch table seating. The menu is a little limited while out of the food truck but it was OK. I got the Chicago Style Hotdog all the toppings. The dog was good but the toppings stole the show! Everything had great taste and was fresh!f Service was quick and the employee was very kind. I am excited to come back and try some of the chili. It seems that it is the claim they have but i wasn't feeling it today.
Currently the main building is under repairs, so they are operating out of a food truck for now, with a limited menu. So no fries until they’re done.
I’d describe the food as great college food (or like hangover food). I liked my Chicago dog and the Texas burger as well, but it’s heavy. The atmosphere isn’t great, since all dining space is in a parking lot…but if the weather is nice, and you like dining outdoors, then this is the place for you!
I got the double classic with fries. The chilli burger was delicious but a little messy. Make sure to grab a paper towel before eating! My favorite was actually the fries. The fries tasted fresh and homemade which is a nice change from fast food fries. If you do a combo, the large drink is definitely big enough to share with someone.
All seating is outside so be prepared for that. We ate when it was pretty windy so we were struggling to eat.
I had a good experience here today. The food was great and I liked the service. The only complaint was how run-down and dirty the restaurant looked. Kinda gross. Other than that, I recommend this place.
I been wanting to go to this place for years. It looks pretty retro and trendy. The fries are good. I like ‘em. The texture of the fries are unique. I can’t explain it but they’re good. They taste similar to Red Robin fries IMHO.
I got the regular burger which is actually a chili burger. It’s alright. My friend thinks it was amazing. The portion size ain’t that great but it was good.

Been wanting to come here for years, and I wasn’t disappointed. We bought the entire menu and enjoyed everything. Texas burger was the favorite.
Ordered the Chili burger with fries. Took about 10-15 min to make. A little raw on the inside of the burger - but tasted great otherwise.
We both got a double Texas burger. The chili was a bit messy, but the burger was delicious. Great post ski dinner!
Quaint little burger joint with an interesting history. There is no indoor seating here, outdoor only or take it to go. I had the chicken sandwich and it was pretty tasty, nice blend of sauces and sautéed mushrooms and cheese. They boast locally sourced beef and bread made daily.
Tommy's is a unique little burger joint that we found. We sampled the Texas-Style Double and Single Burgers. They come with Chili on top and it was surprisingly really good! We were skeptical at first, but glad we went!
My favorite place for chili fries 🍟 hands down 🙌🏼 And I love the atmosphere!!!! Reminds me of the 90s yes I’m that old 😂 would definitely recommend !!!!
Tommy's is an adorable old-timey burger stand with exceptional food. I tried the Texas burger which has chili on top and absolutely loved it. The fries were perfectly cooked and crispy. I'm excited to go back and try their other burgers and hot dogs. This place is a must-visit if you're an individual who regularly visits downtown Provo and loves exploring cute, lesser-known (but still excellent) food joints.
The restaurant has some outdoor seating as well which would be lovely to eat at in the warmer summer months, but generally, I'd say you should plan on driving up, going in to grab your food, and either enjoying it in your car or driving home/to the park/wherever you want to enjoy it
About what you’d expect from a small corner burger joint. You eat outside or get it to go.
I got the chili-burger combo and my son got the cheeseburger kids meal. He said he wished he had a second burger—he thought it was that good.
My son had to go to the bathroom, and I was surprised when they said they had one. We were super glad they did, but seeing the inside of the building… it’s not what you want to see before you eat something (I’ll leave it at that). But we were super grateful we didn’t have to rush somewhere else for a toilet.
Anyway… all things considered, I’d eat here again. I wouldn’t drive across town, but it’s a nice outdoor burger and hot dog place if you’re downtown Provo.
